We were completely disappointed by our stay at the Omni. We came looking forward to a unique environment and experience and were shocked to see the condition of the pool - murky water , terrible over crowding , the common areas were abandoned with trash and food. Wild animals were eating and picking at trash in the pool area, the lazy river was full of leaves and murky and warm, the negligence of the staff and the trash in the common areas was so so shocking. There was a dead roach in our tub We will never recommend. It was a total waste of money.

This place is well-maintained. I booked it online for three days. They failed to tell me that their main pool was closed. I show up and they told me at registration. I was so upset. I paid over $100. Enjoy my weekend. Have the kids play splash pad etc. but it was closed with no notice. When when I say something and ask for a discount they cannot do anything. Because I booked through Expedia. Then I call Expedia and Expedia can’t do anything either. I will never stay here again because their service was horrible. You could have given me a $50 voucher for food or drinks on the residence and I would’ve been satisfied, but you failed to do something to a customer who was misled on a reservation. never again.

We booked here for the lazy river and the shallow beach area. They could have resurfaced during a part of the year where those areas weren’t being utilized as much. It was the hottest weekend of year without the best water activities. The servers charged us extra chicken on a chicken salad. Then made my wife feel bad when she tried to correct them.

Upon arrival they charged 25.00 for parking, failed to communicate that lazy river was closed. We got to our room and they had left food from previous day. We called to have someone pick it up and he happen to walk in because door was unlocked. It was an awful experience as Im glad I had finished changing into my swimsuit. We came to celebrate anniversary I was very disappointed because we had come for our honeymoon 8 years ago and felt service wasn’t the same.

The front desk is very rude. Both days. The lazy river was closed wasn't aware of till we got there and that was the main reason I booked. Someone stole my Gucci sandals, son's new crocs and hat while I was swimming. When I called front desk wasn't helpful at all about it.the sheets had blood stains. Don't think I'll be booking at omni again.

I have been staying at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas since 2010. I fell in love with the vibes of the hotel, how nicely it's kept up and the staff. I feel very much at home and can relax by the Azure Pool, or have fun at Splashtopia, or just hangout in one of the spacious rooms that dot the property. I highly encourage everyone to check out the Omni Rancho Las Palmas, as it does not dissapoint!

Rancho Las Palmas is our favorite hotel. This time around, we had some difficulties unfortunately. The main family pool with lazy river, water slides etc were closed for our visit. No notification from Expedia when booking. No communication from the hotel beforehand. A letter was handed to us upon check in. Had we known, we would have waited to book (traveling with our sons). We asked to talk to the manager and she could not have been less interested in talking to us. Did not want to help. A “too bad for you” attitude. If you’ve been to this hotel, you know you pay a premium for the family pool area. Such a bummer. We still love this hotel but will definitely be calling before booking from now on. I wish they would have been more transparent. Really the only person who treated us poorly was the manager we spoke with. All other hotel employees were great, as usual.
