it was OK / Good but likely will not be back.
All In all it was a pretty good stay, the checkin was very friendly and Quick. our room had no view just 4 large bushes in from of the sliding glass door, it may have been the only room like that as when we walked threw the court yard that is what we saw, so I guess just unlucky on our part. In the morning when we were getting ready the bathroom had a very strong sewer gas smell, not immedialty but it showed up and stayed for a bit , to the point where we had to glose the door to the bathroom and finish getting ready in the main room. honesly not the worst thing as we were almost ready to leave . The ghost town and what not were very cool and very worth the visit. We spent about 2 hours looking around and could have spent more but it was very hot that day. The restaurant was very understaffed 2 people only for the dining room so many people had long waits standing at the door even though there was many empty tables. Food was good your normal breakfast items.

What a unique stay at this hotel. Lots of activities with the amazing museum next door, lake, pool and gardens. My kids will definitely remember this place, I wish they AC and some firmer mattress’s. but would stay here again.

Amazing hotel experience for families!
We had an incredible time at Three Valley Lake Chateau! The hotel was beautiful, the gardens peaceful, and the beds super comfortable! We enjoyed the rec room activities that you just don’t see at most hotels: ping pong, foosball, and a massive checkerboard (as well as the pool!) Most places squeeze you for every activity, but these were just part of the experience, and allowed the opportunity to play with our kids and make some great memories! The ghost town was WAY more than we bargained for! I thought it would have been a small collection of buildings with some history thrown in for good measure, but in the end, we spent 4 hours there enjoying all of the artifacts, stories, and local history! We will recommend Three Valley Lake Chateau to everyone we know who might travel that way! And hopefully, we’ll be back to visit again soon!

Very unique place, feels like you have stepped back on time. There is a games room! Ghost town is wonderful. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant can be a little hit and miss.

Wonderful location, friendly staff, and a lot of fun at the Old Ghost Town on-site! You definitely need 2 hours at the ghost town if you really want to take it all in. The hotel itself and amenities are a bit dated. Overall enjoyable!

The hotel is interesting when you walk into the lobby, but awful one you walk into the rooms. Terribly rundown, everything smelled bad, and there was not any air conditioning. The staff in the restaurant hate their job and customers coming in are an annoyance to them. They were mostly pleasant with myself, as they were cussing in front of my child, but I heard them complaining about and being rude to other tables. The food is overpriced as it seems everything comes out of a frozen package. The ghost town was interesting and fun though!

This hotel harkens back to a simpler time and I enjoyed that. Staff were friendly and kids enjoyed the ghost town. We also enjoyed the view of the lake and the pool and hot tub.
