Got a room for my daughter at this location. The first night, she had no heat! The 2nd night, I asked for them to give her a room with heat. They switched her room to one that smelled like cigarettes and was in a busy area - AND it still had no heat! This is not acceptable.

When I checked into my room I noticed it was very cold. I turned on the heater but had to leave because I was going to visit my son in Monterey, 105 miles away. That was at 2:30 pm. When I got back to the room at appox. 9:30pm, I noticed the room was even colder. I felt the vent to see if heat was flowing. No heat. I went to call the front desk but the phone wasn't working. I tried the TV to watch the election results. The TV was not working. I went to the front desk. The person behind the desk stated that nothing worked because they were renovating. I asked for another room but all rooms had no heat,TV or phone service. I went back to my room to find another hotel at 10:30 at night. I found one,then went to the front desk person and stated this was totally unacceptable. I asked for a refund. He had to ask his manager but didn't sound hopeful. Not very happy Expedia. You should have checked this hotel before my booking. I don't think I can use you again.

There were bugs in the room. The TV didn’t work. They had no local channels. The room was dirty. The only thing I could say the hotel staff changed the TV very quickly for me. Otherwise, this hotel is probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in and I will never recommend or stay in a motel six. Never never never, and I will never recommend it. You’re trying to stay at a motel six I recommend look another direction cause it’s a dirty, nasty cockroach crackhead motel.

I reserved a non-smoking room weeks ahead. When I arrived, at 9:30 pm, I was told they “only had smoking rooms, but it was pretty clean.” I explained I had reserved non-smoking. I was told I could take the room or leave. I called Expedia. Spoke to customer service and a manager. All they could offer me was a credit on my next booking. I asked to be placed in another hotel. I was told that “since I didn’t cancel a day ahead, I couldn’t get a refund.” How could I have know “a day ahead” they were putting me in a smoking room? The room smelled like an ashtray. There were holes in the wall. The walls were dirty. There was “caution” tape outside my door because the railing had fallen off of the second floor. DO NOT stay here. I won’t be using Expedia again.

A well below average Motel 6 in cleanliness and comfort, which I can deal with. Then add the fact that they could care less about repeat business. Majority of hotel empty and they room everyone bunched together. Downstairs crackhead up all night and slamming their door every 30 minutes or so, after a cigarette. And when said crackhead finally left (I assume because its not like they went to sleep) a ladder is put up to roof above me and they start working at 8:30am. Then the little stuff like the old trick of having a random/wrong TV Remote in the room that they know you won't change out at the office the first night because you're to tired upon arriving. You then return it the next day and they're "baffled?" Then I return to my room and my key-card doesn't work so I had to get it re-coded. And finally, the bed was not a good bed like Motel 6 usually has.

Most motel & hotels have somewhere in the rented rooms USB ports so you can charge your phone or tablet or iPad. But Tom Bodell is a tight A$$ and for some reasons motel 6 has not upgraded

It’s a Motel 6.. there was a drunk guy loitering in the lobby. (He said he had a room.). There was also someone screaming and banging on their room door at midnight. My room was clean, but did have parts that were in disrepair. I guess you get what you pay for.

I requested a wheel chair excessible room. the room that i was given was occupied. so they put us in a nice room on the 2nd floor. i had to hobble up the steps. not happy about that. The room was nice and clean but it was cold that night and the heat did not work. I was freezing all night long.
