A very convenient location on the waterfront in Campbell River. The 50th parallel marker is just across the highway. Unfortunately someone was smoking marijuana in an adjoining room and the smoke was drifting into my location. The bathroom sink screen was missing from the sink and I dropped an item into the sink and it fell into the drain and stopped at the parapet. I was fortunate to be able to fish it out of the drain with a computer cable. This was reported to the front desk.

Disgusting staying
If I could put zero stars I will do, I booked this hotel online for family vocation and it was disaster , it was the most disgusting hotel I’ve been in ever, the booking said it’s ocean view and you can’t see the ocean view and if you want to believe them you have to get out to the balcony and look right and you see a very small view, and I paid extra for this view . Everything was dirty and disgusting the carpet and curtains looked so dirty and never cleaned , even you will see a lot of insects there and even the heater has loud noise all night , I tried to sleep and my whole body started itching so badly , and I couldn’t sleep till 2 am and woke up again at 4 am , and I believe there is something in the bed. I booked three nights and I came to complain at the front desk and canceled my booking they said they can’t refund me as I booked online, I called the agent I booked with and he called them to ask them for refund they denied to return the money saying this is not their problem. The pool was disgusting, ice machine it keeps throwing ice and not even working properly, we tried to get to the gym they didn’t allow us as they close it at 10pm . It was the most miserable experience I ever had, and even the front desk staff were so rude and unprofessional . If you got any horrible experience like this please write it down, it’s really frustrating to go there for 4 hours and after that we got this terrible experience.

This was the perfect stop, great location on the water, a lovely shore path for walking. The restaurant next door was delicious. the staff were very nice and the room was comfortable and clean

In our room there was an old narrow 1 flight of stairs to get to the beds. Not great for a person who walks with a cane. No lights on the stairs and the bathroom was downstairs! Bathroom door sticks and walls need painting. Older property but needs some upgrades. Complimentary breakfast was unavailable this morning.
