Staff was very helpful. We were lent umbrellas when it began to rain, and they were helpful in giving us transportation options. This hotel is a bit out of the way if you want to get to the subway or shopping, and its a bit of a trip to get to Marina Bay.

I had a fantastic short stay at this hotel. The reception staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. GM Georgette truly values customer service, and personally greets and serves guests at breakfast! The Standard Queen room was clean and very comfortable, with a choice of soft and firm pillows, small fridge, a single sofa seat and small breakfast table - enough for a single person. Great to have an ironing board & iron, hairdryer and pretty good quality shampoo, conditioner, etc. No minibar but there was always a plentiful supply of water bottles. The TV has a good variety of stations, and the AC was good! It can be adjusted too. Bit disappointed I didnt have a good view, but for me that wasn't the most important thing. It was nice to come back to a freshly made bed and tidied bathroom after a long, hot day out. The pool was small, but clean and nice, and refreshing, and there is a gym with dumbells as well as cardio equipment. The hotel launched it's new dinner menu and the food is really nice. I was very grateful for a few vegetarian options, like truffle fries and a tasy margerita pizza. My friends also enjoyed their meals. The bar is for beer and wine, with a few spirit options. It's a relaxed and cheerful spot for a drink and the staff, especially Jeff, always want to please. It's about 30 mins from the city centre, and has a bus stop almost out the front. Taxis are quick to order at reception and there's a little conveniece store and local restaurants nearby.

Nice Hotel
The hotel was very good indeed. However, there was no evening food available on Mon, Tue or Wed. On the eco front, we seemed to get new towels everyday, despite the towels being back on the rack. The staff were all very polite and efficient and breakfast was fine.

Clean and friendly hotel. The MRT station is a long walk away but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel going to the station. Breakfast was good, not as a five star hotel but all we needed.

A Healthy Stay
My sister and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites for 10 days while I recovered from surgery. On our second day at breakfast, we were warmly greeted by the ever-cheerful Mr. Allan Yeo and Anna Ngyen. They consistently asked how I was feeling and wished me a speedy recovery. Their genuine concern made me look forward to breakfast each day. Another friendly staff member is Ms. Maureen, who handles guest registration. She truly makes a difference in our check-in experience.

Our stay was good overall. The room was clean and comfortable. All the staff members were very helpful and professional in their conduct. We had a lightning issues in our room and they address it right away and when itnwas discovered that it would take some time to resolve they actually moved us toba different room that was an upgrade from our previous room. The food was very good overall. We certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay.
