Brilliant place. The View is amazing if Lavender Bay. The Maître D with the spider tattoo is excellent with customer service. The reception team were brilliant.

We requested a room on a higher floor as the rail line runs under the hotel, as well as a harbour view. We found the hotel in a really convenient position, only a short walk from the rail station. The breakfast was great, as were the staff who were all very helpful and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This is the second time we have stayed at The View Sydney…Absolutely love it! The view is amazing 😍 It’s close to everything. It’s just a great spot! We had the buffet breakfast each morning or our stay and that was delicious! Great selection and lovely service.

Stayed two nights, rooms are not the cleanest, the carpets need a really good vacuum. Views to Harbour great. Restaurant Staff are great and very obliging. Food is fresh and very tasty. Rooms are noisy and sleep quality was not great.

Beautiful view which is really the draw card but I otherwise found the property to be noisy with trains passing, and also as my room was located right next to the fucntion space. Reasonable price for the view with the city easy to access

Great Location
We had a lovely stay at this hotel, thanks to its amazing location in a beautiful area. The views of the harbour were absolutely stunning, and it was so convenient to access nearby attractions like parks, the reserve, Luna Park, and the water’s edge. While the hotel itself is older, our room was in good condition and comfortable. The only downside was its proximity to the train line—train noise could be quite loud at times. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay here again!

Simply the Best
This property was one of the best we have stayed in. We had the most amazing view from our room. The location was fabulous, just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the crazy city but just a quick couple of stops on the train to Circular Quay / City when we needed to go there. Staff were attentive and friendly and the buffet breakfast, at a very reasonable rate (if booked in advance) was excellent, also enjoyed with the fabulous view. This property will definitely be our hotel of choice whenever we come to Sydney. In fact, we have already booked another stay.

High regard for Hotel and Staff
Pre cruise night, better tariff than 4 or 5* CBD or Circular Quay hotels and lower taxi fare from the airport, using the toll road to North Sydney and avoiding inner city traffic. We were upgraded to a Harbour view room, spectacular view of the bridge and Lunar Park and were given early access to the room. We are already planning a return stay.

The hotel had an amazing View and the staff very helpful. The carpets could do with replacing but the bed and room clean and comfortable. The air conditioning took a bit of working out but worked well eventually. Would stay here again and it was very convenient for the train and getting into Sydney centre .
