It was a pleasurable stay at Vibe Sydney - spacious comfortable room, quiet in a corner room on level 2. Only note for improvement is insufficient staff on the service desk, only one person, even at peak times.

What was once a great value for money option has now turned into nothing but a budget hotel with fancy badging. I am a regular traveller to Sydney and have for many years chosen this hotel, however over my last 3 stays over the last 4 months the quality of this hotel has dwindled. This has included but is not limited to: - items being stolen from our room. - having to go back to reception because the room I was given had the incorrect beds - requests for a king bed to be split being unfulfilled. - a flooding bathroom - excess noise/pipes - room keys no longer working, and having to go back to reception to get them reprogrammed several times - poor customer service at check in and being spoken to in a demeaning manner. Many of these issues have fallen on the deaf ears of receptionists, some of whom walk around and treat guests with little care or respect to their job. I once recommended this hotel, however its quality of both product and service has continued to decline, meaning I can no longer recommend it.

A large tile around the pool was off and mess left all around. Very dangerous. A cockroach in pool area. A cockroach seen being swept away in food area. No daily housekeeping. Noisey guests running, yelling and shouting at 9pm and at about 3am. Amazing service at check in but that’s where it stopped. For the price, it did not deliver.

Nice central location
Late booking so expensive. Well positioned between Central & Museum Train Stations, Chinatown Light Rail & next to cheap multi story car park. Shopping/Food outlets within 500m. Sofa bed for child incl.for an extra fee. The Storehouse Cafe-reasonable for Sydney. Amenities & refreshments not replenished, maybe NY oversight. Maintenance in bathroom sub par, otherwise would recommend.

The hotel is warn out, carpet and couch dirty, plaster falling from ceiling, aircon didn’t work properly. A rip off price wise. The restaurant also had very poor service, took forever for them to serve us. I was very disappointed by my stay. Jan 25.
