Awesome location very close to dining, shops and even closer to the beach. The rooms are a bit tired and, yes, the other reviewers comments about those beds, are true. They are definitely not what you will find at your usual Hilton or Quest Hotel. The curtains are a tad sad and the rooms are decorated the same way they were when I last stayed ten years ago. But...it's clean, safe, brilliantly located, the complex is well maintained and that Cycad in the middle is HUGE. For the price, this is a great place to stay for (in my case, self funded) business or as a leisure traveller looking for great value.

TV had no channels so went to bed after returning from dinner. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable and the blinds didn’t block any of the outdoor lighting. Mustn’t be any sound deadening either as I could clearly hear every conversation in the complex…

This property is extremely disappointing. It Is not a 4-5 star, at the most it would be a 2 star. - no staff are ever around or available to speak with - the Queen bed slats all fell out as soon as I sat on the bed, hurting my back. My husband fixed but had to sleep on the couch as it kept breaking. We are not here big people. - There is zero privacy in the bedroom and it’s stuffy as windows open onto the room next doors front door. - Mould all over bathroom roof - we had no hot water at all on our last day and staff uncontactable and could care less when called. - when I did call the staff member was like there as nothing she could do as not there and would reply to my email when she was. I have still had no reply to email. Do not stay here!!

The only good thing this property had going for it was the quiet & safe location at Mt Maunganui- close to shops, restaurants & beach - all walking distance. Room was very run down, needs a fair bit of maintenance & a thorough deep cleaning after maintenance. Sorry, but won’t be staying again on my regular business trips to Tauranga area.

Overall stay ok. A few bits of leftover items from past guests. Slidedoor to outside viewed directly into kitchen of next door neighbour, no privacy. Wifi was horrible. Fence outside patio was falling over. Facilities were good.

Great stay. Good price and location. There were a few bits of damage to the place such as curtain, cupboard door, deck fence etc. We took photos of everything just in case but would be nice to not have to worry about that sort of thing

Only a short stay but it was good. Access was easy and the instructions were excellent. Amenities were good and really appreciated the fridge and microwave, plus washing machine/ dryer were an awesome addition. Bed was super-comfy and warm as well Only issue is that the room hadn’t been cleaned well - there was someone’s lip balm and a nerf gun bullet left by the bed

Self check in was a breeze. The apartment itself had a strong odour of some type of chemical. Very pungent. Ideal accomodation if you are just needing a bed for the night. Great central location. If I’m honest it felt a little like emergency housing. Parking was safe and easy. I would probably stay again.
