-Poolside pergola offers a relaxing spot to enjoy the shaded outdoors & is accessible via sunroom, master bedroom & bunk bedroom.
-If you’d rather soak up some sun there’s 2 loungers ready for relaxing along with a dining table & umbrella for an al fresco lunch.
-Grab a book from the game room bookshelves & head out to the Queen bedroom hammock (one of our favorite spots) to enjoy a nap surrounded by the hillside & bird song.
-Binge your favorite shows from the sunroom sofa while easily keeping an eye & ear on those in the pool through many patio doors/windows. The Roku streaming devices make it easy to sign into your streaming accounts or home cable network.

*Pool towels are provided & the pergola coffee table holds a revolving selection of children's toys, arm floats, etc.

*Door alarms are installed on bunk bedroom & sunroom patio doors to help prevent littles from accessing pool area without supervision (these can be switch off if u prefer). The bunk room patio door also has a childproof deadbolt system & the front door has a sliding child safety lock.

*Beach sand has a habit of clogging the pool filter so we kindly ask you make sure to rinse any toys out after the beach :)

•Thoroughly disinfecting of commonly touched surfaces. Permitting soft surfaces will be hot sanitized or swapped between guests.
•24 hour minimum buffer to ensure staff has time to properly complete everything without exposing themselves to unnecessary risk.
•We are eternally grateful to our AMAZING staff whose diligent training & strict procedures have been impeccable throughout this pandemic. To avoid stress upon their already busy schedule - changes to check in/out will not be permitted for the foreseeable future.

Family Time
Casa De Norte and hosts,Jess and Justin, exceeded our expectations. We were in San Diego to celebrate a 13th birthday with sun, baseball, and adult decompression time. Casa De Norte accomplished all of that. Everyone slept well in comfy beds. Meals were easy to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. We made family memories in the pool and at the pool table. Morning sunrise and evening sunset views from the living room and outdoor space were medicine for the soul! Jess and Justin, thank you for your perfect balance of availability and privacy.

Casa De Norte
The house, although a little dated was well equipped for a great family vacation. Our grandkids loved the pool. The house is located close to Walmart, Target and Stater Bros making groceries easy to pick up. Jessica and Justin were quick to help with a couple of questions. Loved that everything labeled and notes around the house to explain how to use things. It took the guess work finding the way things worked. Thanks for a great Holiday Home

Visiting Family In Escondido
I stayed here with my wife, mom, aunt, and 2 year old son. The layout of the home was really great for my family, and the safety alarms on the doors were super helpful for my young child. The rooms were comfortable and clean, overall a success. The pool was expensive to heat (we stayed in October) but it was really lovely. Views from the deck were great, an awesome outside hangout. We stocked up on bottled water and foods. There are some random leftovers from prior guests. It was convenient to where we were visiting family members, but was an expensive stay.

Great place to relax!
Stayed at the property while our daughter recovered from surgery. The pool area and sunroom are great places to relax as a family and we felt very at home during the stay. The owners were very easy to communicate with and even dropped by to give us the lighter for the fire pit after we could not locate one in the house.

The perfect place for us to relax and explore
We stayed here for 4 nights. It was really clean and in wonderful shape. You can tell that our hosts thought of everything they could to make our stay enjoyable, from an easy check-in process, to a video on how to use the spa, to a roku for streaming movies on the tv. We had 4 adults, 2 of which were over 70. We had 3 kids that were 3, 5, and 7. Our stay wasn't during the warmest week, so we did pay to add-on the heated pool which worked great. The pool was a little deeper than I expected, but our kids can swim pretty well so it wasn't a problem. We ended up spending a couple days in the pool and venturing out to San Diego on one of the days—which was just a short drive away. I'd definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to relax outside and visit surrounding venues.

Attentive owners and beautiful home
Our family trip started poorly with sick kids which happened to run through the family. The owners of the home were very attentive and accommodating and allowed for early check in, due to one child having gotten sick on the plane ride. The owners live next door so they also dropped off supplies such as soup, pedialyte, etc. to help! The owners were also VERY helpful and went over the top again when my husband forgot an important backpack on the property and the owner personally helped ensure the backpack was picked up by an Uber on our last day to be delivered at the airport with us. On to the house. We vacationed with my family of 5, my parents, and my brother and we felt the layout worked perfectly for our group. We very much enjoyed the pool and the hot tub! We were worried that the deep pool would be too cold in March to swim but it was quite nice and the kids spent every day in it! We would definitely rent this home again if we find ourselves in the area!

We stayed for five days to take our grands to SD for spring break. Check in was so easy and Justin, owner, was readily available when needed. Although he lives next door we never felt ‘spied’ on and were very comfortable in the house. The pool and spa were wonderful, the view at any time of the day/night was fantastic. There are so many outside areas to enjoy with patio doors all around the house! Beds are comfortable, pool table was great and we played almost every evening with the grands. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this home was for us. The location is about 30-40 minutes from SD entertainment which was fine for us especially being able to return to the spa, pool, etc. We hope to stay again on our next trip! Thank you Justin for your hospitality and providing this great home to stay in.

We rented this lovely home for a Thanksgiving family reunion. It was pure bliss. Jessica was so helpful and informative. Walking into the house felt like instantly stepping into a tropical vacation. The outdoor area is perfect for entertaining. We watched the sunset every night. I was so pretty up on the hill. We cooked a large Thanksgiving meal in Casa Del Norte's amole kitchen. It had all we needed. The kids enjoyed the pool table immensely. All the bedrooms were very comfortable. We will be back next year!

The owners were extremely helpful during our stay and even took the time to come over and show us how to use the equipment for the pool and spa. While Vista is not a beach town, we found it easy to get to Carlsbad, Oceanside and other areas. I would recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a great family retreat.

This was our second stay at Casa De Norte and it didn’t disappoint. This property is a hidden gem and our family had a great time again. The pool and hot tub make for such a fun family trip after a day at the beach or local theme park.

Amazing time, would stay here again
We had a great time at Casa de Norte. The pool and hot tub were amazing and there were multiple places outside to relax between the pergola area, the fire pit, and the additional patio table. The house was very well maintained and very clean. We were there with our two children ages 7 and 10 who loved jumping in the pool. There was plenty of space to spread out and all the essentials were included. It was a little further out than we expected so we used the car a lot to visit beaches and check out beach towns.
