Someone phoned my home and questioned my daughter rudely. I had phoned them a week prior as requested and told them that I had a small dog. The staff said they didn't have a record of it which showed very poor internal communication.

The room was nice. It was nice to have no loud air conditioner bussing. They was a nice breeze with the fan going on low. I am going to stay there on my way back.

This property seems very run down. The room had lots of cob webs in corners and ceiling. Most of the wall plugs didn't work and for the ones working there were extension cords running from them. Not really sure if fire alarm was working as it looked a 100 years old. Bathroom vent hasn't been cleaned in some time. Unfortunately the restaurant food didn't offer the traditional "comfort food" such as burgers, hot turkey sandwiches, fish & chips so cannot speak on how the food/service was. The most important issue was there was no air conditioner in room. There was a fan supplied which moved around the 30 degree air in room.

No customer compassion
We had to change our plans and leave early. We asked for refund for our 2nd night stay that was not used. Hotel quoted policy and was not at all compassionate to our needs and stated they 'may' get a partial refund To date we have see no such refund. Not happy customer.

Great little family run motel. Older but very clean. No air conditioning in our room but it wasn't needed for our one night stay. Slept with the windows open.
