300/night on regular night in Dec. Expensive but we have stayed many times before and had found memories. However, a few disappointments. It took more than an hour to fix a maintenance issue in the room while I got two other room options that weren’t any better, 3 calls for maintenance/housekeeping and 2 previously random visits from housekeeping. Biggest DISAPPOINTMENT was the breakfast. We decided to pay extra for the hotel expecting the best Embassy suites breakfast. Turns out things have changed and the beautiful fallsview and amazing omelet station have been replaced with a cheap factory made omelets and dry sausages in the BASEMENT! The once awesome cereal table with little marshmallows, all gone. It was not worth the money. It was worse than a Holiday inn express of Hampton inn breakfast as there wasn’t even a waffle station. Previously they would clean up for you, now you have to find your own spot, share a table with sleepy strangers and clean up your tray yourself. Like in a cafeteria. Without a falls view room it could have been any other good hotel. In my opinion they lost their signature stamp with the changes they’ve made. Better change the name to a Hilton or Hampton. The pool and hot tub was nice though. Staff wasn’t as friendly or accommodating. Didn’t want to add my membership number. Didn’t get an apology for the room issue and hassle. Wasn’t offered anything, not even the little bag with water. It’s only worth it for $155 or lower

I was moved to this hotel after my reservation at another hotel got cancelled. Great hotel, Staff seemed to go out of their way to make everything easy and smooth. My only criticism was that the parking at the hotel was $70 (yes, SEVENTY) for ONE night. I think given the cost of the room to begin with, that was outrageous.

We decided to give adventures instead of gifts this year for Christmas, so we decided a trip to the Falls to see the colourful lights and visit some wineries. Check in was easy and the guy at the desk was pleasant and welcoming. There was an evening reception which we attended, but I was disappointed! The drinks were served in a plastic cup. I felt like I was attending an outdoor event and not staying at a hotel! We asked at the bar for wine glasses for our room and were told there were none. We called the reception and then we were told to call another place…anyways we finally got our glasses, but it was a hassle! We had stopped at wineries along the way and wanted to enjoy wine in our room looking out at the Falls! The water was cold, so we called the desk and maintenance came and told us it takes time because we were on the 17th floor- took about 10 mins to get hot water in the sink and shower! The room and hotel were clean and the view was amazing. I did get texts from management I’m assuming. But we felt when we called downstairs whoever answered sounded unwelcoming sorry to say! For the amount of money we paid the view was worth it, but not the rest!
