My family and I enjoyed a 3 night stay. Suite was spacious. Views were enjoyable. Overall, it’s a clean hotel with friendly staff. What we didn’t enjoy was the breakfast buffet experience. It’s a large hotel accomodating breakfast for hundreds daily so understandably the crowd is expected. Elevators took forever and overall, it’s hard to manage eating a meal in peace. Also, the menu was the exact same for all 3 days of our stay.

For the amount of money guest pay to stay on this property should be considered when breakfast is being served at the buffet. There not be a scrapping station for guest to scrap their own plates when finished. Also the sanitizer bottles should be checked on to make sure they are porperly refilled. Parking cost is ridiculous. I did pay the $100 a day parking which there were cheaper options but when you have a rental car and other parking is off of the property this gotel basically forces your hand to pay $70 for regular parking on the property and valet is $100. Not a fan of the money grabs especially when I have to scrap my own food plate after I eat.

Generally it's a good experience. Good facilities, cleaness, quick check-in/out, nice staff and securities, a good fit for families as two queen bedroom or king-size with double sofa bed, seems to be a standard. If there is something not outstanding, that will be the surrounding grill and bars will be noisy till very late, and the hotel is so popular that elevators will be quite slow in peak hours.

The rooms are spacious, as you would expect from an Embassy Suites. This hotel is very crowded and you will wait 15 minutes for an elevator to go anywhere!!! The location is very convenient at the top of the funicular to the falls. We booked a Partial View room and we had a FULL view of the Horseshoe Falls!! They will try and upsell you to get a "full view" room because "they had a cancellation", don't fall for it unless you need the extra bed in the bigger room. The fireworks are ar the Rainbow Bridge We had a separate living room and there was an extra vanity outside the bathroom to accommodate a larger family. No issues with the room. Since we were parking in the onsite lot, they told us to park and then unload the car using the luggage carts in the parking garage. There were no luggage carts!! So it was a 15 minute wait for an elevator back to the lobby to get a cart and another wait to get back to the parking lot. Once we unloaded the car, it was another 15 minute wait for an elevator to our room. The free breakfast is worse than a cafeteria. You wait in line to get in, then wait in line again at each station. The food was not good and I ended up getting cereal after all that waiting. We ended up just going to the IHOP in the tower next door for the rest of our stay. The food and service was great!! The manager's reception includes 2 drinks per room per night. The drinks available were bottom shelf and you had to pay extra to get anything drinkable.

Upon arriving, we were asked if we wanted to up grade our room for another $200 on top of the $900 we already were paying for 2 nights. I agreed and off we went. Upon entering the room, everything appeared to be ok. Then I went to shower and found a rather large clump of hair in the shower. This area was clearly not cleaned. The hotel took off $100 after my complaint. I feel we should have not had to pay anything for the upgrade, as it clearly was not an upgraded room. It was a room that was not cleaned, and is inexcusable in that industry. We have stayed at the Embassy Suites many times prior and this is why we chose to return. After this stay I will never return to the Embassy Suites. If you would like to stay at a premium hotel in Niagara there are lots of others to chose from with same or better pricing. I would definitely look elsewhere and stay elsewhere!!!! Jay
