The walls and floors are very thin here. This isn't the place if you are looking for privacy and quiet. We heard every step above us, every door slam in the entire building. Our visit was in July, and the unit was very humid, so much so that our feet stuck to the floor. You can see that the unit was renovated but not done well. Trim didn't meet on the edges, among other things. The bathtub was old and had chips and cigarette stains on it. I doubt we'd stay here again.

Arrived at 2:40pm and was told could not check into room until 3:00pm. I asked clerk 3 times if she was being serious about making the family wait 20 more minutes - she finally agreed and turns out the room was available. Just a total lack of common sense and customer service! The rest of the staff was kind and helpful; especially the breakfast lady!

It wasn’t awful but not the cleanest. The floors in the room were not visibly dirty but when I went to wipe up water I spilled the paper towel was black. Also because there is no carpets you can hear people walking in the rooms above.

My family loved spending the weekend at this property, very clean, the staff are very kind. It's worth going down in the morning to have breakfast, which is of very good quality and variety. We went on a weekend that unfortunately rained, and the indoor pool saved the day for my daughters who had a great time. I recommend

Great stay for the price plus we had a hot breakfast with a good variety. Staff was very polite and helpful. Beach is a 10 min walk. Mall 10 min drive. At night we sat at the fire pit. We also used the gas BBQ, worked really well. Overall an amazing experience. We go often to West Yarmouth and this was our first time here place And we will be returning. The only thing that was negative is the construction happening. They are revamping the pool area and the asphalt looked newly done... however in the parking lot area beware there are a lot of screws and nails. You can easily get a flat tire. From the 2 parking spaces in front of our door, I picked 10 screws and nails.

BEWARE!! Do NOT use Expedia/Hotels.com to book!!
We booked 1 mo prior (mid-May)..room was priced around $70 per night. Supposed to be in the ANNEX not "Resort" room. The Annex are cottages. Beware: this is subpar to Motel 6 and in no way a "resort." Been using Hotels.com for many years. I pay at resort option, and it's always been the same price as at time of booking Well..we got there, were not placed in Annex (cottages) AND found the "pricing was dynamic" via Hotels.com agent--which NEVER was the case in the past. You pay price at booking date! We ended up paying $183 for one night for a room that was bare bones yuck. I looked website itself,and for exact room it was cheaper. The palatial resorts across the street on the ocean were CHEAPER!!! No one took accountability. May or may not be all hotels.com/expedia's fault but I will NEVER book with them again! Sunbird said maybe clerk made a mistake--but too bad, too late for us! Out $100. Never again.

Worst “first & last” impression!!!
Upon booking my 2-night stay I requested a ground level room. Upon check in I asked the non-personable female front desk clerk if this room was a ground level room, her reply was she does not know the layout of the blue and white building so she did not know if the room that I was assigned to was a ground level room. The room ended up being upstairs and after a 3.5 hour drive I wasn’t about to get the layout of the blue and white building and then go back to the non-personable front desk clerk to see if I could get a room change just an overall inconvenience. Although on the front desk counter, it did have the layout of the green and white color building which that seemed inconsistent, not having a layout of the blue and white building. Not sure how many times a guest may have asked this question and in any “hospitality” business an “I don’t know” is not an acceptable answer. Next day the both card keys did not work at my room called the front desk and again non-personable clerk stated that I needed to walk over to the front desk to have the keys reprogrammed. The 2nd Night was the topping of a cake actually at 4 AM on the morning of our check out the fire alarm goes off blaring in the guest room. My three month old grandson is screaming. I called the front desk. Ask what that noise was and eventually the fire department came the entire building fire alarm was going off and after about 30 minutes it was cleared. Worst “first & last” impression!!!

When I went to get my towel the towel holder fell off the wall. I think they are still in the beginning stages of opening and have some glitches to work out. The beds are great and it is very clean. The staff is magnificent.
