I only stayed overnight, staff were excellent, bar and restaurant very convenient, one issue I found was the water pressure in the shower was pretty much nonexistent

Nice looking room with a lovely view of the Water Tower. Besides a wee bit of an ant issue (were crawling around on the single spare bed in the room) & floor was marked/ stained from previous guest, was clean, tidy and quiet. Got a great nights sleep. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, nice food, the staff were fabulous & gave great service.

The food downstairs was exceptional. There was a lot of noise outside and inside on occasion but I personally find that comforting. The old style of the building was a nice change of scene and I generally had a good time. Thanks

Upon arrival, the check in process was seamless, and the young lady was friendly. The restaurant staff was attentive and nice to talk with. The room was large, clean and well equipped. The air conditioning was a nice addition to maintain the temperature. I would certainly return on another trip.

No lift and stairs are quite steep. Lovely willing staff helped with my suitcase, but I doubt I will stay there again because of the stairs.

Wonderful Hotel and Pub
Wonderful hotel and pub with old English charm. We loved our stay at the Rutand Arms Inn! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The pub food and adult beverages were great! We highly recommend the Hotel if you’re staying in Whanganui.

We really enjoyed our time at the Rutland Arms. We had a beautiful room that was nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. The food was as good and worth booking a table for! All in all a very pleasant stay and I’d highly recommend it !!
