Scenery, scenery, scenery. As the highest mountain in New Zealand, it doesn't get much better than Mount Cook. You definitely get the feeling of being up close and personal with the mountain and the surrounding mountains. We checked out the glacier and did some stunning walks through the national park. We recommend staying at Mt Cook village for a coupld of days to really experience it in depth.
