This cozy cabin sits secluded on top of a mountain boasting breathtaking views. You can entertain and grill on the large back deck. You can snuggle up to the wood burning fire on those chilly nights or when returning home from your ski adventure.
The upstairs has an open floor-plan with a formal dining space. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and microwave. There is cable T.V. in all the bedrooms along with a DVD/VCR player. The cabin also has WIFI for your convenience.

The cabin is minutes to all the major ski resorts in the area along with some great fishing, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, superb dining and shopping. The cabin sleeps a total of 8 with a queen in the master and in the spare bedroom there is a double and 2 twins. There is also a queen pull out couch and an extra twin mattress in the closet for the kids if needed. The community features a maid service, tennis courts, hiking trails, a swimming pool and a clubhouse for all your needs.

Cute Cabin with Amazing Views
Cute 2-bedroom cabin was the perfect size for our little family. The long range mountain views from the decks are incredible. Exactly what we were looking for. Great location to Grandfather Mountain, Grandfather Winery, Boone and Blowing Rock. Communication with host was excellent. Would definitely stay again!

Mountainside cabin in beautiful area
We stayed here for a Quick weekend and it was perfect for our family of four the only negative I can speak of is the road up there is a little dicey at times. Just because it’s very narrow, so if you meet another car, it can get exciting. The cabin was relaxing and tidy. Loved the provided coffee and shampoo/cond in the bathroom. Beautiful views from the deck! Would love to return again.

Perfect Mountain Getaway
We loved the cozy cabin so much, we especially liked the privacy as it’s on a dead end road at the top with a Mountain View. We brought our pets, and what a relief to find a great property that allows our fur kids. Centrally located it didn’t take long to get to all of the areas best spots.

This is a beautiful, quiet place to stay! Only negative was the frying pans - they’re needing to be replaced. Dishes were all clean and plentiful and kitchen was clean and nicely updated.

The cabin is private and quiet, with a nice Mountain View. It needs some updating as regards linens and mattresses. Kitchen appliances all worked perfectly. Interior stairs are steep, for older guests to be careful. Perfectly located

Enjoyable stay but not perfect
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the house. Here are our positive and negative observations. Positive: The house is fairly secluded and offers lots of privacy. No other houses can be seen from the property. The house is spacious with living quarters on the top and the bedrooms down below. No steps needed to access home from the parking area. The house is centrally located to all the attractions in the Boone / Linville area. Pets are allowed. Negative: The house is close and high above the very busy Linville / Boone road. The constant traffic noise can be heard when the sliding doors are open or if you sit outside on the patio, ruining the peaceful atmosphere. The house does not have a central AC but rather 2 small wall AC units, one upstairs and one downstairs in main bedroom. They are not as quiet as a central AC would be.

Great location
House was in a great area, secluded but close to lots of things to do. We used the pool almost daily (just fyi - you do need to drive to the pool from the house), and found hiking close by every day. There was so much to do we could’ve kept busy for another couple of weeks. No complaints at all - this place was wonderful.

Safe, secure, clean and conveniently located to Grandfather mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. The cabin is as advertised and included all the amenities we were looking for including fully equipped kitchen, grill and pool access. Cute cottage, great location
Cute cottage perched on a hilltop. Easy checkin and very convenient to Boone or Banner Elk. The children loved the bunk beds and we all enjoyed the fresh mountain breeze off the deck.

Top of the Mountain
What a great stay! It snowed both days I was there, but no issues with the roads leading up. The cabin was cozy, had amazing views, and was close to everything. I cooked two meals there and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything I needed. The master bad was super comfy! I'll be back!

Great family getaway
We had a wonderful winter vacation at this cottage. It’s location was is good proximity to many of the towns such as Banner Elk and Boone. The cottage had everything we needed (except for a regular coffee pot, only a Keurig but we made it work just fine 😉). The beds were very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed exploring the area around the home. We were just 15 minutes away from Sugar Mtn and it even snowed one day. Thank you for sharing your home with us. PS For any future guests, check out Valle Crucis Park and Crab Orchard Fall. Two free “attractions “ that we stumbled across and were truly amazing!

We really enjoyed the cabin! Great communication with owner, and the cabin was very clean and cozy. And close enough proximity to Beech and Sugar skiing and Banner restaurants! I would definitely rent again :)

Great Spot but At the Very, Very Top
We would have enjoyed our stay much more had there not been a snowstorm the weekend we came. We could not get our cars up the neighborhood and had to spend lots of extra money and worry on Uber and Lyft drivers with four-wheel drive/snow tires in order to get to our lodging as well as the ski slopes. Beware in winter. This place is close to Sugar Mountain and would be better in different weather. The queen bed was very comfortable, as was the shower! The kitchen was nice and well equipped. The owner was responsive and nice.

Great Cabin and Location
We enjoyed our stay at Steve’s cabins. The beds were OUT OF THIS WORLD comfortable. There was everything we needed for grilling and cooking dinner/ breakfast. We were close to Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and Boone. Went on a a few hikes and went to see Grandfather Mountain. There is some road noise from the road below but that is to be expected when you are closer to civilization. We enjoyed our stay, thanks Steve.

Cute Cabin
The Cozy Cabin is perfectly named. It was a great little cabin on a dead end street. Very quiet, open floor plan. Perfect for a few nights getaway! Abpit 20 minutes from most major areas. Stayed with kids 13 to 3 years old. It was a breath of fresh air.

Definitely cozy. Last couple nights were very windy and could feel a breeze come in where the window AC units are. Heat works but may want to seal those better?
