beds were not the best. pillows on beds were non existent Chose this hotel for convenience to hospital. Did not like the fact that they charged over $40.00 for one night parking plus an extra charge of $42.00 for a destination charge? Would not stay there again.

The hotel was fine but a week later they hit me with another charge on my credit card as a "destination fee" According to the person I spoke with it's "included in the fee but charged separately" but the price is paid initially wasn't less, it was the total price, and this charge was separate. Be warned that they do this. You will be charged extra, and this isn't actually the cost.

The only thing I didn't like is that they wouldn't store my 1 bag for a few hours after checkout since my plane didn't leave until 6pm. That was inconvenient. I would've stayed somewhere else just to gain that time back.

The credit for daily breakfast was really helpful and the breakfast choices were very good. Close and safe walking to anywhere and the staff were super helpful. Our room did not have a working thermostat so it was hot on the warmer days. No restaurants close by outside of the jaoamese omg in the hotel. Long walk to harvard square. Walk times were not accurate on the website when booked. Would have stayed somewhere close to the T and harvard had the time been more accurate.

Pros: Convenient location to Harvard, MIT, BU without being in the craziness of those areas. Right along the river so good if you like running outdoors or just walking outdoors. Also right next door to Trader Joe’s. Great breakfast buffet with all the basics and eggs made-to-order. Very friendly breakfast staff. Well-appointed gym w new and clean equipment! Rooms spacious and very clean—reliable Marriott products. Cons: not much around else around property except TJ in terms of shopping/dining. Kind of need an Uber/Lyft to get back late at night—I wouldnt recommend walking late at night. Bathroom is a bit small and definitely the layout and size were from a different era.

Overall, very decent place to stay when it is expensive to stay in downtown Boston area. Hotel charges destination fee and offers voucher as credit to allow customer to spend, but there are many limitations, for instance, voucher cannot be used in shop/market, cannot be applied as tip/tax in dinning. BUT WHY? destination fee is the money customer are required to pay beforehand but cannot be used whenever and whatever they spend? Ridiculous.
