This is our second time to stay at El Presidente. Our experience on both occasions has been awesome! Their service especially at the Sunshine Club has been what we have been coming back for. Happy to say our children sort of grew up in this hotel with memories of Cancun vacations..We also enjoy that this is a smaller hotel that doesnt get crazy busy during meal times.

I would give the property one suggestion. Please change all TVs to Smart TVs so that us Non-Spanish speaking guests can entertain ourselves. Currently, most of the channels are in spanish and even the American Channels have spanish overdubbing. With a name like Intercontinental, I would expect the property to have the budget to change TVs into Smart TVs. Other than that we really enjoyed this hotel. This was our second stay with them this year and were totally satisfied with the value for our money.

The caribbean restaurant excellent buffet and Antonio and Nai(girl) waiter's exceded their service with us and everyone, specially ANTONIO, Maribel the captain very nice with us but very rude with her employees, put Flan dessert back on menu, PLEASE keep Abraham and beautiful Venus at the hotel for many years!!! loved eating there both do excellent job keeping birds out of the restaurant Thank you for this beautiful hotel.

We stayed 6days/5 nights in Rm 608. We were pleased with Club Suite Rm with balcony- ocean view. Shout out to the following staff : Valeris from front desk- for always welcoming and accommodating all the time. She sent me a surprise bday cake up in our room! Also to Spider-Man -Joseu, Cesar and Giovanni. For our cocktails and my micktIls! Piñada! To Reuben for our lunch by the beach! Catch of the day and Tokoya were delicious! Thanks to All of you. I was unable to stay at this property because my flight was cancelled due to a hurricane. The hotel is not responding to my request for a refund or a at the very least a credit. We really enjoyed our spacious Ocean View Room at this property. Great ameneties and detail to a comfortable stay. We could not hear anyone in the rooms next to us, except those rude ones in the hallway- these were infrequent. The staff is very friendly and very helpful in providing transportation tips. Please go online and arrange your transportation from the airport and back because the hotel doesn't have a shuttle and the taxi cab will gouge you badly at the airport. We paid $85 for ride to hotel and then found a random taxi driver on the street that took us to airport on day of return for $35. All of the food was very good at all of the food establishments at the hotel. The prices are what you pay in the U.S.,as this is not a budget destination. The only bad moment was bad waiter service on the beach and being charged $10 for a Shirley temple (a can of Sprite and a small cup with a bit of grenadine and ice) because it was labled as an alcoholic drink. We paid half for an orange spritzer. The beach is small, but lovely. Do make sure to get out early morn or late in afternoon to get an oceanfront covered lounge area. If you want to do the breakfast buffet, also go early because it fills up fast. I do wish they had a microwave in the room, but that was only downside. It is a bit of a walk to the party area, about 20 minutes, but there are packed buses or a taxi right across the street if u want. The hotel has all kinds of water toys to rent or a spa if you prefer land fun!
