This resort was always my favorite but when we recently visited it wasn’t like always. The rooms haven’t been updated it’s all Work out there’s broken furniture in the room , the bathroom showers were weird they kept making sounds there’s plumbing and a weird smelling issue coming out of the tub

Been there for 3 times I really like it. But be away from the sales people they will waste your time there keep asking you to apply for becoming a member and asking to pay thousands of dollars on spot

I had an amazing time! The staff went above and beyond. Ana concierge, Orlando, and Raul our Butlers were exceptional! Yusef from Prime Club was kind and very informative!! He had outstanding customer service as well and the reason I signed up for Prime. Wonderful time and will definitely be back!!

The property was undergoing a lot of construction. Their keys to the doors wasn’t working ran out of towels gave us the wrong room, etc. etc.

We booked a swim up, the room was spacious and the swim up was great. The water was always cool so it was great to take a dip after a hot day in the sun. There were plenty of food options and, to my pleasant surprise, the food quality was great compared a lot of other resorts we have visited. I would definitely recommend Royalton Riviera to those that want a great time and great food.

We have stayed at the Royalton Riviera Cancun a number of times, and we very much enjoyed our last stay. One thing we really love about the resort is the kids club. Our son, who is seven, enjoys hanging out there, and we enjoy the time to ourselves. All of the caretakers are friendly and kind. If you have children, you can feel comfortable and confident leaving them in the hands of Carolina, Alberto, Juanita, Lulu, and Mari. Our biggest complaint was the food, as options have changed (i.e. no filet at the steakhouse anymore), and the quality, overall, was not as good as on previous visits. We recommend this resort for both families and couples.

The building we were in was being renovated, therefore there was noise from 7 am - 6 pm. The rooms are clean and spacious. Pools are very nice, but close at 7 pm. You need to make reservations for specialty restaurants via an app. By the time you get in there, all the reservations are taken. We mostly ate at the buffet because we didn’t need a reservation there. The omelette and taco chefs were super nice and friendly. The waitstaff were also very nice and attentive. Restaurants close at 10 pm. Only late service is room service. Which is included in the package, which was a nice amenity. The shows were good and entertaining.
