The property was very good overall. The sports activities were always late and the location sometimes wasnā€™t clear. The sports locations should be clearly labelled such as beach volleyball court 1 or court 2. Again, overall a very good experience.

This was our second trip in 2024 and it was an amazing experience once again. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Facilities were clean, food was awesome and we had THE most romantic, once in a lifetime beachside dinner. 4.9 out of 5 stars. Every day has she potential to be a relaxing beachside getaway or an event filled adventure, itā€™s up to you. We wanted for nothing; except cigars, but Iā€™m sure they wouldā€™ve made arrangements had we asked. What we will miss most is going to the coffee shop each morning and watching the sunrise on the veranda overlooking the oceanā€¦. and the spaā€¦ Planning another trip next year! Hope this helps.

Want to share emphasis that most of the staff was amazing and attentive. The food was also great. The drinks were so-so & surely had better at other resorts. Check in was not smooth for myself nor the entire group I was with. My room was old, falling apart and had previous guests hair on bed. Whereas, my groups rooms were cleaner, nicer and appeared newer. There was a random odd smell in certain areas, and there was also mold in some restrooms. The place does seem to be working on restorations - which is a plus for future guests. Overall the staff made the stay pleasant however I donā€™t think Iā€™ll return. Thank you to Royalton staff.

Property is beautiful! They were doing construction on one of the pools and throughout the resort. The one on the pool I barely noticed because there are so many places to swim. Loved the staff. Very easy mindless and relaxing vacation. Highly recommend the upgrade to diamond club.

Expedia failed me on this reservation and I'll probably never book with Expedia or Travelocity again!! The hotel is going under renovations and I was placed on a section being worked on.. asked to be moved, the hotel failed me, went to Expedia where I booked and they were no help neither..

Went for a wedding and had a terrible experience. We booked diamond club and had a butler whom we met upon arrival, tipped, and then never saw or heard from him again. Our dinner reservations were messed up and no one cared to reconcile that. The food was barely edible and the drinks were terribly watered down - that included the diamond club bars. The rooms are not cleaned well. One guest from the wedding party had bed bugs in her room and the hotel staff still didnā€™t want to change her room. The hotel is large and confusing to navigate. Thereā€™s no waiter service by the bars, including the diamond club bar. You have to go order more drinks, no one cares to come around. The towels and beach chairs are absolutely filthy. The pools are not cleaned regularly. Absolutely terrible - would give zero stars if I couldā€¦ strongly recommend NOT staying at the Royalton Riviera.

I do not understand how this is a 5 star resort. We came here for a family wedding. Upon arrival our bed had big brown stain on the sheets and the pillows had black stains on it. The room smelled like sewage and was disgusting. Similar problems happened with multiple people The steamer had mold on it The walls and closets had so much dirt around the corners it was uncomfortable. The towel when they changed it had red blood stains on it!! The food was limited and not good The buffet had a really bad sewage smell The drinks did not have any alcohol in it severely watered down Only good thing was the pool Never coming here again
