The property is located in a bit of a corporate wasteland off the tollway, which was fine for me because I was there to self-isolate and write for a while. Across the street is Trinity International University which had a sense of post-apocalyptic abandonment to it. Not sure if the campus was on break or if it’s always this empty. The weed-choked volleyball courts would suggest the latter. Around half of the nearby business buildings were completely empty as well. Breakfast was better than I’d been led to expect with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit and pastries available. You need to travel at least a mile to get to any actual dining or retail, but I’d brought a week’s worth of sandwich stuff for my stay so that was ok. My only real complaint about the property would be that the lighting in the room was a bit dim, but otherwise I could see returning here for another writing retreat.

Very good stay and property. Everything went nice starting from checkin to check out. Rooms very clean and big. All things were working properly in room. Breakfast was good too. All items in Breakfast were regularly checked and restocked after some interval. Overall very nice stay and experience. Will definitely come back in future.

The room was great except, no smart TV for streaming, TV volume was limited and it kept turning off, the whirlpool drain didn’t close all the way, the flusher chain on the toilet came off, at 6am in the morning it sounded like EVERYONE was knocking on doors, stomping around upstairs and making way too much noise. Bath tub had a patch type of thing and water flow is slow in bath tub. even though reported, it was not taken care on day 1 and day 2 they are supposed to take care but until we return it was not taken care. Rest all seems to be fine.

The only thing that was disappointing was the toilet, is so low it more for a child. Otherwise it was a great stay for the price 👌
