I had low expectations coming into this hotel due to the negative reviews, but I’m happy to say many of the concerns people had seem to have been addressed. Rats: There were previous complaints about rats, but we didn’t see any during our stay. There’s a cat house on the property, and the cats are let out at night to keep any rodent issues in check. Cleanliness: The hotel was very clean, and housekeeping came in daily to maintain the rooms. Staff: The staff was generally friendly and polite. I can understand that the language barrier might cause some confusion for others, but it wasn’t a problem for us. Food: The food was on the bland side, but if you like your meals with a little more flavour, I’d recommend bringing your own pepper sauce. Overall, I would encourage people to give this place a try. It exceeded my expectations, and I think others will have a pleasant stay as well.
