Comfy stay
The colleagues are helpful, courteous and friendly. The food both in the evening and at breakfast was good. Plenty of onsite parking. Good size comfy room. Improvements 1. Ensure all the lifts are operational as there were long waits and queues to use the one small lift that was working. 2. Update the aircon controls in the room to a more modern type. Other than that it was a comfortable stay. Will stay again.

Great stay. Excellent staff, nice clean room with very large TV. Lovely hot jacuzzi and steam room, pool good temperature too. Slightly noisy air con/heating in room and shame about the £12 parking charge, otherwise great.

Great stay in a lovely hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza, great location, very friendly staff. The room was a good size. The only thing I would say could be better was the pillows... unless you like a super firm pillow!

Was a nice stay, however when checking out was charged double the price for a meal we had the night before, on saying that it was to expensive the receptionist checked and kept saying SHE, me had said the bill was incorrect on checking which took a while, the mistake was realised and then charges to the correct amount taken. My point being receipt was rude, and not very apologetic?

Not up to past standards
Unfortunately room was not set up as requested and asked reception to fix however 4 hours later we had to remind them again and wait until housekeeping could make up beds for us. Bathroom door also became jammed closed preventing access until maintenance could come. Initially receptionist came up and simply jiggled the door handle (how I wish I thought to try that) then had to wait until someone arrived with the correct tool. Again one of the lifts was not operating and this resulted in queues to get up to rooms. Concierge was outside main door not preventing cars parking on double yellow lines and the narrow road became completely gridlocked with drivers shouting and swearing at one another. When we complained to concierge asking him to stop cars so we could get out his reply was that he hadn’t noticed there was an issue!
