This property is very old. The lack of a pool needs to be highlighted in the description. The lack of a lobby is weird. Rooms are very small. It would be impossible to accommodate 4 people in a room with 2 double beds. Could not get the TV to work. Location is very good, however, and the people who work there are very nice. Expedia screwed up with the reservation and they were able to find it in their files.

It is a clean, tiny, no-frills room with a great view of the ocean across the street. Close to swimming, snorkeling, food and shopping. If you want to be in the center of action in Waikiki and don’t plan on spending a lot of time in the room, this could be an affordable option.

Good/Unique: It is literally a Circle with the building being round and the rooms as wedges around the central twin elevators. That was a new experience. Bad: As a result of the above, there's no lobby and you essentially check in at the ground level not far off of the (busy at times) street. There was a lot of verbal info about the building and elevator access and room keys. Either we missed that info about the room keys also being used for the elevators or it wasn't clearly emphasized at check in ( with ambient street noise ). We had just arrived and had luggage and filled an elevator so could not share with others. Our adult daughter came up after parking with only a backpack and one suitcase. She was able to share the ride up and was able to observe people using their room cards to get the elevator to go to the correct floor. And then there was the facilities fee. Was that for electricity and water or what.? We were there one night to shower , change clothes and sleep before departing at 6:00am sharp to fly home. We used no pool or sauna if they were even available. We had no time to use "facilities". We parked overnight and that was a separate parking charged. I suggest this as a choice 5th or 6th down your list ESPECIALLY if it's for a one night stay.

the room are a little small but everything else was really good (and I am a complainer..lol) Super clean, every staff was nice and helpful. Good location,. on the main street, just across the beach . The beach was safe (no thieves). 3or 4 blocks from International market place .. Really, a nice little CLEAN hotel

It’s my 1st time to Hawaii. I really enjoyed how convenient the hotel is located, Just cross the street and walking distance from all restaurant's,stores and malls. I really like the view from our room it’s on 13th floor, highly recommend and will visit again.

The Aston was exactly as described. Right across the street from the ocean. Proximity to the beach was spot on. My family of four didn’t have enough room to spread throughout the room. Enough room for single dudes and gals out for a great time in Waikiki not so good for a family of four. Awesome Location

This place is very worn and old. I don’t get the 8/10 and 10/10 reviews by others. You can’t sit on the balcony without getting spit on by the air conditioner. You can’t beat the view it’s beautiful. Beach is right across the street.
