We just left from our 4 night stay at Ixchel. This hotel exceeded our expectations in regard to location and facilities. The hotel is right on the beach with an abundance of beach chairs for guests. The beach is stunning and the lovely staff were available to serve drinks and food while at your beach chair. The two pools were smaller than we imagined, but still great from refreshing dip. The hotel rooms were clean, large and very beautifully decorated. The hotel is locate don the main dining street so a quick walk to many amazing restaurants. Another bonus was the use of a washing machine and dryer during our stay. We ate at the hotel restaurant a few times for lunch and food was very good...as well as the 2-4-1- cocktails all day long!

It was me and my partners first time coming to Isla Mujeres, and we had a great time staying at Ixchel. I really wanted to be at a hotel right on the beach and that's what we got. We spent 3 days lounging in the beach chairs and wading in the ocean. The hotel's restaurant comes to wait on you so we were able to have drinks and lunch without leaving. Prices at the restaurant are like typical US prices. The room we had was nice and clean. We appreciated the large shower with the drying line in it. Through our window we could see the beach and hear the waves. The AC was nice and cold, which felt great coming in from all the heat and humidity. The staff were very kind and helpful. They helped up book a taxi when we wanted to go down to Punta Sur for sunrise. Location can't be beat. The hotel is right at the end of Hidalgo, the main street with shops and restaurants. Very easy to find walking from the ferry and easy to go try out other restaurants in the area.

The location is off the chart! The most beautiful beach in the world (Playa Norte) is only steps away. Stunning views. Fabulous staff who cater to your every need. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shopping. The staff make you feel welcome. The kindness of the staff give you that extra reassurance that you are in a safe, reliable location. Our room was exceptionally clean. The front desk answered our calls every time we called with answers to our questions. Thank you Ixchel!!! You won our hearts, and we are coming back Nov.12th-15th 2024. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome!

In October 2024, we had the pleasure of staying at Ixchel Beach Hotel for three nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Our check-in process was seamless, greeted with refreshing drinks and warm smiles, which set a positive tone for our stay. Initially, we were a bit disappointed with our room's partial pool and ocean view from the second floor, as much of it was obstructed by the ceiling of a nearby building. However, as the days passed, we grew to appreciate our stay, and the view became less of a concern. The spacious balcony was a wonderful feature that we loved. Upon entering our one-bedroom suite, we were delighted to find it immaculate and equipped with nearly everything we needed. While the furniture was somewhat dated, it was in good condition and clearly chosen with care. The true king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the double sinks in the bathroom, which made getting ready easier. I did need to request an extra bed for our young child, as the suite only had the king bed, but the hotel promptly accommodated us. The safe was also a generous size, perfect for storing our valuables. Overall, the suite offered plenty of space for the three of us, making it a comfortable home base during our stay. The hotel’s location was fantastic, within walking distance of wonderful restaurants like Oceans on Ave Miguel Hidalgo, where we enjoyed excellent food and service—especially from Alejandro. We also discovered great shops and beach clubs

This is a really great place to stay in Isla Mujeres! They have beach fiod and drink aervices from the hotel bar and restaurant. We had breakfast seevice while sitting on the bach. It was amazing and the foid was really good. Great location - about 12 minuts walk from the Ferry. There us EVERYTHING in walking distance. The staff were very nice and professional

GREAT place to stay right on Playa Norte!! Sand felt amazing. Easy to get a chair/unbrella. Service was great! Only suggestion I have is to improve restaurant and drink offerings at the resort…but there were MANY amazing options just a few blocks away.

Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff and a beautiful beach. Only issue is the private restaurant/bar and palapa that is directly in front of the hotel and sits on half of the beachfront. This was confusing upon arrival. Misleading online photos lead you to believe all beachfront in front of hotel is available for hotel guests.
