An horrific check in with zero professionalism and empathy by the receptionist. The duty manager was conveniently on a ‘break’ when I requested to see him. I was treated like a conman because I couldn’t immediately produce my credit card I had booked the accommodation with and when I did, was asked for photo ID. Last time I looked, this was NZ, not some other country.
Great way to treat business guests. I could go on about lack of training, lack of respect, noisey tourist guest, closed restaurant on a Monday, no dining table or even desk to work on in the room..but frankly, I can’t be bothered. If this is Hilton at its best, I won’t be back…EVER
