Check it out before you stay
The ‘hostel’ is literally an abandoned garage. Took us 30 mins to find it as we didn’t expect it to be there. When we asked the locals the old man opposite who is lovely btw, gave us a drink whilst his granddaughter went to try and find it and finally went under the shutter of the garage and found the host.
She had no idea we were coming, explained that she had to ‘clean up’ before we could come in. I don’t want to sound harsh as she was very nice and wanted to help us, explained everything but all that is advertised on hotels.com isn’t anything that she is offering.
The on-site swimming pool is actually the river at the end of the road, no where near the place.
There is no restaurant.
There is not 10 rooms, it’s just 5 mattresses on the floor of the garage.
No food facilities onsite.
No fan or air con which isn’t advertised but she said it’s very hot in there so bring you own fan.
All pictures that are on hotels.com don’t represent the hostel at all.
There is no garden, picnic area or terrace.
We have stayed in many hostels and we would have not minded staying if we knew this information first but as we had travelled all day, we couldn’t hack having not even the basic cleanliness. Especially with current events.
