This was a small apartment instead of a hotel room. Nice, quiet neighborhood, close to transportation and shopping. The only problem is the lack of front desk, I took out trash and was supposed to get another bag but they never left me a replacement, had to improvise with my own shopping bag. I'm not sure I would do another visit with no front desk available. Overall nice experience though.

Check in/out was fully self handled but perfectly smooth. There was a kitchenette but it was very hard to actually wash the dishes due to no soap, scrubber, place to dry them, or gunk trap in the sink drain. The shower is set up to dry laundry which works excellently

Public areas of the building were filthy, giving a terrible first impression for an otherwise excellent property. The washer and drying facility in the shower really helped after we got completely drenched one very rainy day.

Smell at the hallway as soon as you walk in the building. This is an unmanned property. Expedia posted wrong information with limited check-in time. Lots mosquitoes inside and outside the property area, of course including inside our room. We have to turn down room temperature below 19c to be able sleeping. Walkable convenience stores and restaurants.

Perfect for our family!
We are traveling spontaneously through Japan and this was a perfect place to stay for our little family with enough bead for everyone and a washing machine for our clothes. We loved the location also as it was close to stores, train and bus routes. Thank you!

The room was great. Clean, comfortable, convenient. The washing machine was great and the hot air drying was so convenient. The post box combination lock was hard to understand. This could be explained better.

Long way from train station but still very good.
It’s a long way from the train station but still within walking distance via the tunnels.Check in was fun, but we did finally retrieve the second set of keys as we had rented 2 apartments. All automated check in which mostly works.You’ll pay Kyoto tax here in cash which is a little odd.

There wad no communication regarding check-in process. Credit to the cleaning lady wr luckily met for facilitating check-in. The refrigerator was not working and wad not fixed till we left. No response to the complaint.

The lift in the foyer was not working during our entire stay. The foyer reception area smells musty and disgusting during our entire stay. The information at reception is not very clear. There was a washing machine but no dryer plus there’s no clothes line provided. Overall I like the kitchenette facilities. It’s a bit outdated & not very clean
