Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't like having to walk all the way through the casino to access the elevator to my room. I didn't like the view. I was in room 101806. The room faced a parking lot and a bad neighborhood. I also didn't like being in a conjoined room. A couple of my nights, the person on the other side was shaking the lock. I also don't like the half closed showers. There isn't a door to hold the heat in while you're showering. The so-called updated rooms, came with less furniture and new portraits. I also wasn't a fan of the worn carpet look. I thought the carpet was just old. My son pointed out that it was a fashion statement. I usually stay here because the rates are so reasonable, but I'm not sure if I'll stay again unless I get a suite.

The reservation/check in desk were very nice. So were the employees at the gambling tables and at Breakfast. The room we reserved was an upgrade to a suite but it was out dated & smelled like mildew. We changed rooms but it cost the same amount to get an undated room BUT it wasn't a suite! To get a suite on a floor that had been updated, we had to pay more money? The TV screen in our updated room was not working, took 2 days to get it fixed and we only stayed 3 nights, so only one night with a tv. Twice we went to our room, on different occasions, on the 19th floor and our keys would not work and we had to go back down to the reservation office to get one that would work. They finally credited us $50 for the inconvenience but then tried to charge us more when we checked out. The hotel is at the top of the strip away from the main Vegas strip so walking is not a good idea...the area is not safe to walk. I know it is less to stay at the Strat but he pictures are not up to date for all the rooms and the restaurants were not open! We had to eat somewhere else (Uber or cab fee) everyday except our last morning there. We will not stay at the Strat again.

This Strat hotel was a great experience I really enjoyed my birthday trip everyone was so polite and friendly the room was amazing and clean. Did have to go out to much everything you need was in one location. Only issue was the television would go off because of service but other than that it was very nice. I would definitely stay there again.
