The room was great! Looked updated, clean, comfortable, no complaints about the room. Hallways looked like they were due for an update, but hey, I was not sleeping in the hallway. Water park needed a good cleaning and some TLC. Nice slide. Looked like it was well used. Considering this was $100 less than other hotels I was looking at, I would book again. Withing walking distance of Mayflower and Mill is right across the street. Location was good!

Great location for Plymouth
This is a great base for Plymouth - 4 minutes walk to the rock - with plenty of parking and large comfy rooms. All the room amenities you would expect, nice quiet room, great shower. Staff were friendly & super helpful with maps and restaurant recs. Only slightly disappointing point was that the restaurant was on limited opening hours but luckily there was a pub style restaurant across the street that was great.

We stayed at the John Carver Inn for a wedding. Our room was clean. The sheets were clean but not comfortable. The hallway was dirty and the lobby bathroom was filthy from a wedding the night before. The attached restaurant was good .

The room was clean. I didn't like that there was no small table in the room and the closet to hang closes was extremely small. Otherwise the room was very nice.

We choose this inn because it was walking distance to town and for the amenities. The hot was not working neither was the sauna , the man that greeted us at the front desk had a mouthful of food checking us in. The shower drain was clogged so the tub was filling up with scum from previous guests, the remote for the tv had dead batteries. Just a really bad experience that came at high price $$

While it's convenient to Plymouth Rock, it was dirty. Older building with some upgrades. Great place for kids, my son enjoyed the pool and waterslide. Neighborhood was a little sketchy. They locked the front doors by 8PM.

Just alot of promises unfulfilled like that the spa was closed. The restaurant was closed. The tv wasnt working correctly. The cleaning staff refused to give me a second bag for ice. Just little things that add up to a less than good impression overall.

A we had to switch rooms twice and I had 4 kids with me and a lot of bags/presents. Then we finally got settled in the room. The first room, the electrical was all messed up and the lights weren’t working. Then we get to the final room and the refrigerator wasn’t working. The pools heater wasn’t working so the water was freezing! Every child was cold and crying and unhappy because of the temp. After awhile they got use to it but I didn’t and my daughter (birthday girl) was very upset… the lifeguard was wearing an entire suit with dress shoes and a tie.. idk why but I thought it was really weird because they were the “lifeguard”. The hotel had BUGS everywhere! Over all I’m pretty upset because it was A LOT of money and I’m a single mom of 3 with absolutely zero financial support so I am still dealing with money problems. I wanted some money back or some incentive but I didn’t want my daughter to see I was upset because it was her birthday celebration.

The only downside was the pool temperature. Our twins only stayed about 30 minutes as it was not heated and they were cold. Advertised pool temp at 76 but was more like 65. Hot tub was awesome though!
