Nice view of ocean/beach The elevators were broken. Only 1 worked. The line to get on the elevator extended down the hall. No staff working the elevator. No apologies when it was brought to the attention of guest services. You seriously waited over 20 minutes. Kids running rampant and making the elevator stop on each floor from constantly pressing the buttons. Ordered breakfast and didn't get a receipt. Called to requests one and they couldn't find it. Dust everywhere. Food was subpar. Housekeeper on our floor was very rude and unfriendly. I'd never stay here again.

The stay was pleasant and the staff is professional and courteous.A few concerns, bed sheets that are stained should be thrown out and not used.The bigger concern I have is what happened in the beach. For an exclusive hotel, there is no security or support when something unfortunate happens. On November 3, we returned to our beach chairs after ten minutes in the ocean to sun a man seated at our chairs, going through our bag, our cash in his hand and rummaging for more.He sat down at our chairs, and had a hotel towel over his head while rummaging. When we approached him, he was seated on our chairs and surprised.The towel was removed and it revealed the man was wearing a FB hat as if he worked there but did not have a beach navy or white shirt in…just the hat and shirts.His shirt was light green surf shirt.He agreed to open his hands to my husband to reveal some cash while I looked to see if phones or credit cards were missing. I ran over to a beach employee and stated what happened and his response was, that guy doesn’t work here. I protested as the man was quickly walking away and another employee on a beach vehicle drove by and went toward the man who went toward the boardwalk. Next the beach employee, was sent over to us to state that they spoke to the man but he must have thrown the hat in the bushes and he stated he saw a man running.The employee said they took a pic of the man and the manager was calling the police. No follow up or apology or support at a 5star hotel.

Arrived at the property parking is extra that is not explained to you beforehand. Apparently you’re supposed to do your own due diligence and know that parking is $75 extra. There was a sewer smell coming from my bathroom. There was no hot water late night, When checking out I let the receptionist know. She basically told me there’s nothing she can do.

I strongly advise against staying at the Fontainebleau. While they do offer room service, no one answered the phone when I attempted to place an order. On my first night, I had breakfast at the hotel and subsequently spent the entire day unwell in my room. Communication from the staff was poor across the board, and there was no offer of compensation or attempt to address the situation. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and deeply disappointing.
