Our room was pretty far from the lobby or drink refill stations. Ants all over the kitchen and a roach was in the bathroom sink .

Excellent hotel near the parks. Shuttle bus is very easy to take to and from CityWalk. They even have a garden walk that is about 1 mile away if you are up for walking from the parks. The hotel itself is very kid friendly and has 2 heated pools and a lazy river. Plus extremely close to Volcano Bay Water Park. We highly recommend this hotel.

An Amazing Family Stay!
Our stay at the Cabana Bay Resort was nothing short of awesome. The family friendly amenities were perfect for our short trip to Orlando. The room was perfect for our large family. The free shuttle to the parks was so convenient. Even more, we were able to enjoy the pool and other property amenities the entire day after checking out.

The employees were friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and efficient with the check-in process. The resort has multiple pools, bowling, and eating establishments. It was convenient to the parks, it was part of the early park access, and it had ample shuttle service. The self-parking with room key come and go was easy and there was plenty of parking. We would recommend staying here.

The best way to do Universal Studios
We loved our stay and decided that is the only way we will experience Universal Studios parks in the future. The shuttle was very convenient, and the food choices were enough to make everyone happy. Beds were cozy and firm enough that my back was happy all week.

We stayed a week. Housekeeping great every other day. Food service, arcade staff, ice cream shop, laundry, star bucks and front desk staff great, gift shop great. Loved fire pit and meeting so many wonderful people. Pool staff roughed out cold snap. Condos. Felt safe. Shuttle fast and never waited. Great vacation. Our second time at this hotel. Great to see all the holiday decorations too. Yes. It was at a cost. But definitely worth it. Hope to visit again.
