Within this stay I have to communicate how terrible this was for my family and I. We came to stay at a place we liked because of how comfortable it was for my family, my children had so much fun the first time we came here a couple of years back. I checked in and it was all good until on 10/09 my a/c went out, I called them early in the morning to let them know that our a/c went out. I had called them the night prior to extend my stay because of Hurricane Milton and I was trying to stay as far from it I could when it would hit ground for my family's safety, so I called and added three days that was no problem. Though the next day when my ac went out after a couple of calls no update, I went to the front desk to check in for my extended stay, no updates, so by then I requested to speak to a manager no one was available and they said a manager would reach out to me. The person who helped me did not want to give me a receipt for my payment and insisted it was being sent via email, which was not. My husband whom went for ice later that day asked for the receipt and to have a manager call us back, they soon sent someone to fix an a/c Jonathan the a/c tech was very nice and kind and did what he could to fix it and while he did fix the a/c by the end of the night it was out again. Still no call from any manager or someone in the front office to better assist our needs. I was highly upset at how ignored we felt and how rude some of their personnel was at the front desk.

Bad house keeping 4 nights not once did we clean towels or the trash empty. The ac units made alot of noise lack of maintance. The managers are fast talking hustlers trying to offer tours of the property without cancelation options i cancelled mine because it was raining all day and i was charged 50 dollars for cancelation fee.

It was a great time at Orange Lake. We chose this location to celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday. We’ve stayed at Orange Lake many times before and have always had a great experience. Much entertainment, close to many restaurants and much more. The only feedback I will give is to update the rooms at the main registry building- other than that a great place to stay and enjoy with family.

This was a perfect place to stay after a Disney trip. It’s not easy to find someplace that will sleep 8, but we found it here. It rained so we could not enjoy the water area, but we will definitely come again!

We booked here last minute due to cancelling a Treasure island rental because of hurricane helene damage. We were very impressed. Our two bedroom condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was very clean. Kitchen very convenient as we like to prepare our own meals . For anyone accustomed to house rentals, this condo included basics you may have to purchase in other rentals…. Laundry powder. Dish liquid, tea bags, sugar, coffee, toilet paper, paper towel . There’s so much to do on the resort. Spent our first day at River Island. The arcade is a little $ but huge . Enjoyed the driving range for a fraction of what top golf would cost. Of all the times we have vacationed in Kissimmee and didn’t know this was here, and reasonably priced. We will be back .

Properly itself is nice. Condo was generally in good. Checking in is a multi step process for some reason. Not sure why everyone has to shuffle between 3 stations to check in. It gives off a time share sales vibe.
