They were in middle of ownship change and remodeling. The beds were new and rooms were decent. Staff was friendly. Most of staff in restaurant/bars not bilingual. Waterpark was a bit smaller than expected and old compaired to pictures. Lots of courtyard games for kids. And heater in pools was broke so a bit chilly for our December visit. Overall not terrible. But hopefully they can get somethings fixed with their new ownership.

Friendly front desk staff. Easy check in and out. They even texted me to ask if I needed anything or have questions about the hotel or its amenities. Some of the rooms are a little outdated but still comfortable and clean. Good amount of towels and bathroom supplies. The waterpark was hit for the children and tourist staying at the hotel.

Hard to find at night was in a hidden spot with no signage. Upon arrival we found out that the hotel is in the transition of becoming a Ramada Inn. It is not a Ramada yet so the quality that we expected from Ramada was not there Waited 20 minutes just to check in. Only one person available. Then instead of king bed we got a room with 2 queen beds Bedroom mattress all thrown out along the walls of property. Not a nice sight Then they charge you a resort fee while they’re renovating. Not fair

I recently stayed at the Ramada Flamingo & Water Park, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. While the front lobby staff were friendly and tried their best to assist, the overall condition of the property and the rooms left much to be desired. The hotel itself is very dated, and this was evident throughout my stay. Upon check-in, I was informed that my reserved room type was not available due to overbooking. While the staff assured me they would move me to the correct room the following day, this was an inconvenience that set the tone for the rest of the stay. When I was finally moved to the correct room type, I was shocked by the level of cleanliness—or lack thereof. The room was absolutely filthy and felt genuinely disgusting. This made it very difficult to relax or enjoy the stay. Despite the friendly efforts of the front desk staff, the state of the rooms and overall upkeep of the hotel were unacceptable. Unless significant improvements are made, I would not recommend staying at this property.

The room smelled musty/moldy. Towels are very old and rough. Felt like I had bugs crawling on me all night -- hoping that was just a feeling and I don't find bugs in my luggage when I get home. Could clearly hear the group in the room next door speaking in normal voices (not raised) until after 2am, then again at 6:30am. Room was very worn out on every surface... not what I expected from the Ramada brand -- and at that price point -- at all.

I ended up arriving a day earlier than initially expected around 8pm.The property has one entrance that isnt well identified which was confusing, especially at night. It appears to have recently changed ownership and is undergoing renovations. I initially thought i was pulling into a used car lot which is next to it.The entrance can only be entered coming from one direction due to a concrete traffic barrier. The first night i checked into a room the sink had some hair and dirt in it but the room was otherwise clean. In room safe was advertised but inoperable/not working and the remote for the television also didn't function properly. About an hour after check-in another guests room on the opposite side of our building caught fire after they flipped the bathroom light switch and had fire and police out. The next morning i was told to come to the front before checkout so she could transfer the deposit for my first night to my original reservation. I had been under the impression we would be moving rooms so we had moved our bags to the car but ended up staying in the same room so after confirming that i didnt need to come back to check back in later and being assured i was all set i popped a half gallon of milk back in the room fridge for my toddler and we left for the day. When we came back to the room that night our keys didnt work and my milk had been thrown out. The rest of the week had no issues

My family and I had a great time staying here. There is lots to do, including a water park. My kids are excited to be returning soon. Very welcoming staff and overall happy environment. 🙂

They say it’s being remodeled but you really have to think twice before bringing your kids to the mold smelly and rotten carpet rooms. They want to charge you “resort fee” because of the old water playground they have. The good thing, the bathtub, air conditioner, fridge and microwave appeared in good shape
