Stay away from The Coffee Shop
The hotel was amazing! The worst part about the stay was The Coffee Shop (name of restaurant) was seriously overpriced, service was awful and the food was like old hospital cafeteria food. And, there were some vendors in downstairs trying to sell timeshares for Windmark that were really annoying. But, the room was amazing.

My experience at Treasure Island was absolutely horrendous. I stayed there for 10 days and was barely in the room, only using it to sleep because I was attending two conventions. Then, at check-out, they ambushed me with two smoking fines — and I don’t even smoke! I barely spent time in the room beyond sleeping, and not once was I informed about any “issues” during my stay. No warnings, no proof, just these baseless fines slapped on me at the last minute. It took an exhausting hour of arguing with them — which I didn’t expect to deal with right before my international flight. Initially, they condescendingly offered to waive one fine as a “courtesy.” Courtesy? There was no courtesy here, just a blatant attempt to scam me. Only when I threatened to involve the police did they miraculously decide to release my deposit. This was beyond disappointing; it was an outright insult. I feel not only dissatisfied but utterly outraged and insulted. How can Expedia continue to promote a place that treats its guests like this? And, unsurprisingly, Treasure Island didn’t even offer a single apology, much less any compensation or courtesy. Zero out of 10. Avoid this place at all costs!!!
