Location is very good and near to shopping / restaurants. The room size was good with a king size bed. The hotel has paid washing and drying facilities. There is no parking at the hotel but there is off-road free parking. Staff could have been more considerate and welcoming mainly at the reception keeping in mind the car parking challenges for arriving guests.

Absolutely loved our stay here, one of the best accommodations in town, stunning views from the lobby, clean rooms, friendly staff and great food at the buffet and restaurant. The coffee machine was tops, which it was available for use beyond the breaksfast window after 10am but overall loved it here. I'd definitely stay here when we return

Queenstown is known to be pricey during the holidays and no surprise the rates were high, but if you are going to jack the rates up over the holidays at least staff the place properly. Check-in, service and breakfast were a zoo. Long waits and stressed staff. The rooms were very small for the price and there is completely inadequate parking at the hotel for the number of rooms they have (had to hunt around for nearby street parking each day). Would not go back again.

Reception checkin from the bar was unusual and also slightly unwelcoming. Staff a bit frosty. Room was fine , with good quality bedding . Bathroom had glass enclosure that was seen through from the bedroom - a bit inconvenient for our family group Breakfast was good, typical English cooked breakfast buffet.

Wow there are so many wonderful things to say about Holiday Inn Express and Suites Queenstown. We stayed there in May 2023 for 7 nights and here are the highlights: * We had a corner suite on the top floor which had a panoramic window and the snow-capped mountain views from both windows was spectacular! Aside from the stunning views at all times, the room was also clean. * The downstairs dining / lounge area near the lobby was large and great and a beautiful space! There were 2 fireplaces on either side - one had these 2 tall comfy armchairs and the other had more seating. Many of the tables had power to charge devices and you could hang in this downstairs area day or night, rather than just your room. After a long day trip to Milford Sound it was so convenient to just sit in one of the armchairs in front of the fireplace with a hot meal, watching sport. * Our stay included buffet breakfast which was nice and the staff were friendly. * The location of the hotel was convenient as it was a relatively short downhill walk to the centre of town and you soon got used to the uphill walk back to the hotel. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! On our return back to Queenstown a week later we stayed elsewhere in a different part of town, but it just wasn't as lovely as the Holiday Inn.
