An Excellent location The bed was Very comfortable The reception staff were attentive. I was disappointed room service and evening dinning in house were not an option. I was also disappointed the shower curtain was in need of replacing and the bath wash dispenser was empty I loved the balcony and large windows but would suggest a mark or line on the non door to prevent accidentally walking into it thinking it was an opened door. Apart from that, it was a good stay. Thank you

Worst place I have ever staffed staff were so rude place is dated good disgusting over priced and facilities are dirty and dated No soap in bathroom linen dirty and staff can barely speak English found the manager extremely unhelpful Wouldn’t recommend to anyone would rather stay at a backpackers than this place .

A below average stay
Check in was easy. I had emailed prior to try and book parking, but was not given a response to this apart from what the cost was. It was hard to understand the lady on reception. We thought the position would have had a better outlook, though it was closeish to the city centre. We had no view, except of the building site next door.

Friendly & Great Location
Kingsgate Hotel had friendly staff and fantastic location across the road from the Town Hall and close to the Octogan. Our room was spacious for the 3 of us and clean, however very tired and old decor. Breakfast was OK and appreciated they had gluten free options. Parking at $15 a night was pricey but plenty of parking on the street. A refurb/update would make this an awesome hotel!

Okay, could have been better
Staff were great, location a bit weird in that we drove passed the hotel, then had to double back. The room was badly laid out, furniture really heavy to move and there was no fixed lights, all free standing. Lift was old and clunky
