Unique Modern Log Home - Stunning Mountain Views, Designed for Comfort

This large 3 bedroom Log House is an ideal escape to the mountains. It is located in the township of Glenorchy - Gateway to Paradise and Mt. Aspiring National Park.

This large 3 bedroom Log House has been specifically appointed for your comfort - comfortable U Shape Couch, 3 Comfortable Super King Beds, 1 King Bed, 2 Bath Tubs, and fully equipped kitchen. The yard is fully fenced which is great for families and for privacy as there is now a home on one of the sections next to us. There is underfloor heating throughout so is a warm home to visit in the winter months. The home is walking distance to the lake, restaurants, pubs, cafes, and shops. There are only a few of each as Glenorchy is a small town.

We also supply basics such as tea, coffee, soap, a few rolls of toilet paper, cooking oil, salt and pepper, spices, etc...

There are many local activities to enjoy during your Glenorchy Holiday - Horse Trekking, Kayaking, Jet Boating, Skydiving, Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, etc...

There is a high chair in the house and a portacot is available by request.

1 Night Bookings Can be Accommodated if there is a 1 night gap in between bookings or sometimes for last minute requests. Please inquire to confirm if this is possible. We accommodate last minute bookings whenever possible.

The property was clean and tidy but very bare. Uncut lawns, basic TV entertainment, very few cooking utensils. Very poor for the cost. The list goes on.... We would not book again. What property manager ??

Log house retreat for 90th birthday party with family
This was a perfect place to have my fathers 90th birthday with family. The Log house was very spacious for additional visiting family members, very warm and clean with a great outdoor area for the great grandchildren to play. The only negative part of our stay was that one of the bottom bedrooms double bed was not suitable for two people to sleep in and would benefit greatly with a mattress upgrade.

Unfortunately my husband and I got sick on the third day of our trip. It's never good being sick away from home. The amenities at the house were good but I would have loved a microwave. I chose to use the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Having to step into a low bath to shower was a bit hazardous at my age. I am 76.

Great stay in a beautiful house
We went for a Girls weekend and the house was perfect for our group. The property owner was very easy to deal with and even let us check in early. We were there on quite a warm weekend and even though the house didn’t have air con there was plenty of fans around the place to keep it cool. The house is beautiful and the location is very central with the general store a short walk away. Even though the neighbours are closer than it seems in pictures it was still very quiet and there was beautiful views of the mountains. Thanks so much for a great weekend!

Nice beautiful place you will never have such a wonderful stay in this log house. We were there in summer and We want to stay there in winter with beautiful sceneries outside and a better warm feeling through the log house.
