Loved our unit. Enjoyed the hot tub one evening. Back bedroom was cold compared to other part of unit. Great water pressure. Very convenient to have the laundry in the unit. Tight parking. Staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND when our daughter left her ipad. They first emailed us and then posted it to another hotel for us.

During a month travelling in NZ we learnt that there are big differences between "motels"- Kings on Peace is the finest of its type- our room was beautifully presented and newly renovated and - crucially- regularly and properly cleaned. A parking space is provided right outside your room and the facilities are top notch- washing machine in our bathroom and a terrace with hot tub and BBQ. All in all one of our favourite stays.

The staff was very helpful and the unit was very nice. Extra half bath was great to have. The unit needs to have a dresser. We wanted to unpack but there was really nowhere to put our clothes.
