There was loud music playing until late, we assume there must be a nightclub close by. We did see a few bugs in the room. The person checking us in seemed annoyed to be having to help us. It seems like a nice property but could definitely use work in upkeep and cleanliness!

Looking for comfort
This was a repeat stay at this same hotel, but the experience was 100% different from last year. Check-in was quick and easy, but to my dismay I had to pay for parking. Our first night went without a hitch, peaceful and quiet. The second night around 11:00 p.m., we suddenly heard loud music, and droning bass, which verberated through the furniture, the bed, and the room. This lasted for 5 hours. I thought surely other guests were also disturbed by this and lodged a noise complaint. We thought it was on our fourth floor or maybe the floor under us, and somebody was having a graduation party. After a couple hours I decided not to go downstairs in my night clothes, because other people had complained and nothing was done. The next morning I mentioned this to the receptionist, and she acknowledged that yes other guests had complained about having their peace and quiet and sleep disturbed. The receptionist then informed me that it was the bar next to the hotel which just opened for business. I am sure that San Antonio has a noise ordinance, and we as travelers deserve to have a quiet and peaceful and relaxing stay! This hotel is going to lose customers because of this, I am quite sure. On a positive note, we enjoyed the breakfast bar and the friendly staff.

We got in late after a long day driving. Our first room was very dark and one lamp wasn't working. Was able to change rooms with no hassle which was nice. The hotel has a nice rustic feel to it. Beds are comfortable and bathroom is nice with good shower pressure. The area surrounding the hotel is extremely sketchy though. Parking is an additional charge and is attached but under a freeway overpass. Despite that, close proximity to Alamo and riverwalk. The pool is nice and relaxing as well.

Definitely needs updating, old ac units keep the floors moldy smelling, the rooms are a bit too warm and humid. Over all the rooms were clean. Towels are nice and thick. The breakfast in the morning is great as far as selection. They do need some different coffee creamers to choose from. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Elias printed some papers for my work for me, he also caught us on our way in to bring me a set of extra bed linens for my children without being asked. We paid a very small fee for a late check out due to my work letting out later than anticipated I didn’t have to worry about 5 of my children and my husband who has cancer sitting in a car until I was released. They are empathetic and try their absolute best to cater to your needs for sure. Elias also offered me Coffe while I was working at 3am. Music from venue next door was loud and made it weird to sleep through. You honestly have to choose your battles with this hotel. There are great aspects and not so great ones but I will say we did not have a horrible stay.

It was good but the surrounding area was iiffy parking under the bridge club with loud music graffiti. Staff was great front desk staff cleaning staff was great!! My ac unit was lacking but other than that everything was great!!

Booked this hotel based on price and pictures. Price was great..the pictures were doctored so was very disappointed upon arrival. And there was a non-mentioned charge of $15 per day parking fee. Also, it is about a 12 minute walk to the Riverwalk. But the area this hotel is located in I would not want to walk around.The room was dimly lit even with the curtain open. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great(needs an upgrade to adjustable head). The pool and hot tub area is small and if there are children it is very noisy and crowded. It's clean and quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful. We won't stay again but for the time we were there it was ok.

The facilities were great, but the defining factor for me was the great customer service I received from Mike and Osha. I checked in late and Mike took the time to help me find a place to eat and with directions. They were fantastic! The hotel was well maintained and clean. Easy access to everything.
