I loved the ease of everything at the hotel. The people were friendly and responsive, the facilities exactly as described and so convenient. I thought the apartment furnishings were a little utilitarian rather than luxurious, but having said that, everything we could require was available in the kitchen and we were very comfortable.

More than just a Museum
So much to take in, every turn holds your attention. The rooms may not be new but they're not dated and remain well kept and comfortable. Well appointed rooms, making our stay easy to stay in. Great location, to make it easy to go out.

Great location. 2 bedroom apartment served its purpose but could do with a tidy up. Had a full kitchen with dishwasher and oven etc but was missing some basic things like a tea towel that we had to ask for.

I wanted to try this place out as I know a little about the history of it plus it was ideally located to where I needed to be. Great location and I’m walking distance of everything. My room was spacious with great facilities although the faucet in the bathroom had a faulty plug so I couldn’t really use it.. however the rest of the room was great. The breakfast offered was amazing.. The pool and spa were awesome though a little dark.. The main restaurant was out of order which was a shame but there are enough dining options outside in the CBD. It’s a great creative space with cool art and a real moody tone which some of the staff were but not enough to dampen my spirits coz they all must be so tired. I would definitely stay here again as I think what they offer is fair considering the $.

Modern, spacious apartment with great view. Practically across the street from museum. Washer/dryer, mini stove, dishwasher (!). Impeccably clean and very quiet. Great beds. For the price I was at first sure they'd made a mistake; I would very much stay here again.

The reason I have three stars is not because the hotel wasn't nice but because the service wasn't quite up to the mark. The concierge at the front desk were quite rude. I had to call multiple times to get basic toiletries which should be included in the room by default!

We arrived on a morning flight from Auckland at 7am. The purpose for our visit to Wellington was for the Marvel Convention for my 3yo godson. Check in was at 3pm. Staff allowed us to check into one of the rooms that was ready early. The rooms were nice and clean. The phones were down and advised reception who gave me their card and advised to ring directly to them. The view at the restaurant was beautiful. Didn’t get a chance to eat there but next time will give it a go. I highly recommend if your looking for accommodation to stay there. Restuarant, supermarket, waterfront, Te Papa all within a block of this location. The beehive is a 9minute drive. Money well spent for the one night 5 of us were there
