Let me begin by saying that the staff are wonderful here, everyone was kind and friendly. Concierge was wonderful in making reservations for dinner as well as other requests for our room. The maids are very friendly, and the front desk staff are great. I booked a suite with views for the July 4th holiday. The Liberty Hotel is advertised as a “Luxury” hotel. This property is beautiful and it has potential, however, the rooms need more upkeep. The suite that we had was a bit run down. Specifically the entry door was damaged, the couch was very worn, and in general the suite was showing signs of heavy use and age. The view was one of the best we have ever had in a hotel. To continue calling the hotel “luxury,” repair and replace items to keep it up to standard. I should not be able to see the hallway from the other side of the entry door. The bolt lock should not look like it’s been pulled from the door. The living room couch should not look like it’s been attacked by feral cats. These are details that matter, especially when paying so much money for your stay.

It was nice and the staff was great but I don’t think it’s worth the money they charge for their luxury line of hotels, they have nicer hotels at a better rate especially in Boston

I had a nice quiet room on the fifth floor with a view of the Boston skyline. The room was very comfortable and the staff was really helpful. The only downside I found is that it's fairly difficult to get to the hotel entrance by car, especially if you're not familiar with the area.

Beautiful, clean, trendy, and convenient. However our room was above the restaurant I believe and there was banging until about midnight then started again around 6. Didn’t get the sleep I was hoping for. Would definitely stay again but would ask for a higher floor.

This hotel was noisy, so much so that they had a security team remove guests from our floor. When we requested a different room to escape the noise, the hotel refused, saying that they had taken care of the problem. There was a loud banging noise outside as well - not sure if it was the air conditioning system or what but it banged every 15 minutes all night long. Location is not good - hard to get to and next door to Mass General. Not good for easy access to site seeing.
