Stylishly decorated this welcoming 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin offers a peaceful and serene retreat in the mountains of Big Bear. This chic cabin is equipped with all the essentials and is perfect for small families and couples. In the living room guests can enjoy the hot chocolate/coffee station, the fireplace (wood) and the flat screen television. Complimentary WIFI is provided. The sofa bed in the living room is not available for use. Two twin air mattresses provided. All the linens and towels are included and are professionally washed prior to each reservation. A shower and tub combo is available in the bathroom. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and enough dinning seating for 4. For BBQ’s and star gazing the fenced backyard is the perfect setting. A propane BBQ and the propane is provided for your convenience. The loft is not available for guest use and is not part of the sleeping arrangements.

Q: How do we check-in?
A: Detailed instructions on how to check-in are sent in the confirmation email. You are required to follow the check-in instructions provided. The confirmation email has the address of the rental, check-in instructions and any other information pertaining to check-in. Please let us know if you’ll be arriving afterhours.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 10am. During the Christmas and New Year holiday period (Dec 18-Jan 3), check-in is at 4pm due to high demand.

A: No. The maximum occupancy allowed for this home is 4 guests. The limits are strictly enforced and may not be exceeded at any time during your stay.

A: Always carry chains in your vehicle if your trip falls between November and April. Our guests can check weather and road conditions in real time by clicking on the links in their confirmation email. We can’t accurately predict when there will be snow.

A: Firewood is not provided. You can purchase firewood bundles at any of the grocery stores in town. The bundles usually last about 1 day.

Clean, but not great for a summer rental
The property was well kept, clean and nicely decorated with many really nice touches, includong dog friendly ones. Thd host got back to questions almost immediately. Unfortunately it was a very hot weekend and in addition to there being no air conditioning we were not allowed to use the beautiful, big ceiling fans. Instead we were provided tiny, ineffective floor fans. Because the neighborhood was not in the best location we were not comfortable leaving windows open once it got dark. I think this property would be a better choice for wintertime fun

Nice place overall - blow-up mattresses generously provided
Overall this is a cheery, very well equipped, clean and nicely updated cabin that in my opinion is particularly a good place for a couple to stay in! There is 1 traditional queen bed in the bedroom with a very comfortable mattress and bed linens - lovely! In the living room, there is a sofa bed, which guests do NOT use. However, in the bedroom closet guests are generously provided with 2 twin-size, blow-up inflatable mattresses and a pump to blow up the mattresses. These are allowed to be set up by guests on the living room floor. In my experience kids do find it delightful to blow up these mattresses and make the bed with the linens provided. It’s just good to know that the two twin beds indicated are not IMMEDIATELY ready to sleep in upon arrival/are not pre-inflated. No big deal! but good to know! Another good thing to know is there is a wall heater with a strong blower in the living room, and in the bedroom there is a stand-alone heater that cycles on and off throughout the night. It heats up the room well. Overall a comfortable stay, especially for a couple.

House is comfortable and well equipped for 2 guests. Unfortunately I had a family of 4. Was listed as a 2 bedroom with a sofa bed. When I arrived it was a 1 bedroom and sofa bed was not available. Loft was not available. They provided air mattresses instead. Very disappointed at the management false posting! The deceptive description is not right for any management company. They provided no recourse or an apology. Fortunately after our complaints they changed the listing description to a 1 bedroom. But beware it does not sleep 4. Unless you want air mattresses.

Quick snow getaway
We wanted to take the kids to play in the snow for the first time, and Big Bear was new to us all. The property was in good proximity to the village, which had cute shops and restaurants. It was clean and comfortable and even had a bed in the loft which was a nice bonus we didn’t expect. It was the perfect size for a family of four with young kids. The owners left toiletries and tissues and other things around to make us feel at home. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

This property was great for myself, my husband, our 5 year old and our dog. The backyard was smaller than expected but worked great to let the dog out. Comfortable bed and couch. Quiet neighborhood that felt safe and very close to gas station/corner store and 5 mins from local grocery store. It had an updated bathroom/cute and cozy decore.

Adorable cabin
The complaint I have is that there was construction in the cabin next door until sunset. If I would have known this was going on I would have chosen a different cabin. We had two precious days to unwind one was interrupted by the construction. Overall tha cabin was just enough space for both of us and the cleanliness was a plus!
