The smell of the apartment was so bad, we chose not to stay. When discussing it with the operator on the phone, he suggested i go buy some freshener!

Cheap and cheerful
The location was great. Check in progress requires walking around the block and was a bit difficult to find the key in the dark. The room on the main road side can get noisy so avoid if you're a light sleeper. The bathrooms benefit from having the doors left openwhen not in use as there are no fans. The laundry door can get stuck easily so recommend it is left open. Walking distance to central Brisbane which was very convenient.
