The apartment wasn't ready for us...
We had booked this place for one night arriving after 50 hours of international travel. We arrived early (12pm) and asked that they let us know as soon as the apartment was ready so we could get in since we were exhausted. We were hoping we could get in before the 4pm check in time if possible and they agreed to let us know as soon as it was ready. We killed time in the area for hours waiting. After 4pm we still hadn't heard anything. After reaching out they sent us an email that the apartment would not be available for us and they would need to put us somewhere else. I asked them to contact me directly via phone or text so we could figure out a solution. After another 30 minutes with no response we decided to just book a different place. It took another two weeks for hotels.com to get a hold of them to confirm that we could be refunded. It was a very disappointing start to our trip...
