Fishing Resorts & Hotels in Otago

It was so nice to be in a new hotel! The bed was great, and all furnishings were new. We didn't want to pay the high prices to stay right in downtown Queenstown, and we were very happy with the location. I was a bit worried when I saw it was right by the airport, but I never heard any planes. There was a grocery store nearby, as well as other shops and restaurants. I was very worried about the parking situation, but we found parking every evening (but got back to the hotel no later than 7pm). And, if you do need to park in the carpark, it's only $10 (which is super cheap in that area), and there is a convenient path from the parking lot to the back door of the hotel.

Exceeded expectations (they were based on negative reviews)

Absolutely adored our stay at the Heritage. From signing in to signing out we had a lovely experience. The staff were so kind and helpful and the hotel itself was gorgeous. Our only bit of feedback- and I’m scraping the barrel here- is that it would be nice to have smart TVs and drop the sky as it makes for better watching but with all the entertainment in the area and the stunning scenery there was little time for TV anyway.
