In good location if you have a scooter- although finding scooter parking around Duvall can be complicated. We were there in September so a lot of the places within walking distance had very weird hours. I was a little disappointed in what we paid/what we got, but overall a nice place to stay!

Stayed 2 nights which gave us an evening and 1 day to experience the Florida Key area (our first trip). When checking in, a couple were having a big dispute with office mgr over lack of service and unmet expectations with property. It was a significant birthday event for the wife and the husband wanted it to be special. He was furious. Our experience wasn't all that different. At checkin we were offered an upgrade. I asked about the cost difference and satisfied and accepted it. When we got to our room and noted a lack of decaffinated coffee, we called and requested same. I was told someone would deliver it and he did. When the packages arrived they weren't marked in English so I asked the fellow if he was sure it was decaffinated. He assured me it was, but he spoke very little English so may not have understood. It was important to get it right because I have an adverse reaction to caffeine. I trusted the service and drank 2 cups next morning. Ended up spending most of our one precious day in room trying to recover. I called the front desk and told them what happened. Did receive a call from office mgr that evening asking if I wanted her to call an ambulance. I declined. When checking out I asked to be refunded the upgrade fee as compensation for their mistake and our lost day. The Front Mgr was unbending & declined. In the end the upgrade fee was double what was stated at check-in. Not at all happy with this property's service mindset.

We loved it! Helene had just passed through. They were cleaning up at an amazing rate. It was very clean and the staff was helpful under some stressful conditions. We will be back!!

We really enjoyed the resort amenities. Our room was not directly oceanfront but we were within a short distance of the beach side pool. There was a very nice stretch of private beach with a great pool bar. Dinner at their red was excellent. We arrived early and couldn’t get in as the room wasn’t ready. When we were allowed in our room we found that the elevator was broken. We had to carry our luggage up the stairs. No one worked on it the entire week. Because the elevator didn’t work we did not have good room service. We had to ask for towels 4 days in a row. They offered to move us half way through our week but we didn’t want to move everything by then. Their employees in check in should have been aware of the rooms that should not have been used because of the elevator. Bar and restaurant staff were excellent. We had reservations for quite sometime and were disappointed to get this room. Would try again if better accommodations.

The refurbishment to the property is well done. Unfortunately housekeeping is marginal at best. We stayed 6 nights and could never get wash cloths. I asked repeated and was told by housekeeping that there were none? One day they completely missed cleaning our room with no apology when I brought it to the staffs attention. The inspection document in the elevator in our building expired over a year ago. The service panel on the elevator which included the floor buttons was halfway open and wires exposed the entire stay. The area surrounding the ice machine was quite dirty with trash and debris. No one seemed to be interesting in picking up any litter that was dropped around the property. It's unfortunate because we really liked the room itself and the location. The pool areas are nice but again, the upkeep was marginal. Attention to detail is not this properties strong suit.

Great place to stay in key west. We had an oceanfront room with balcony. Room is big and comfortable. Beautiful view. Only downside was, there was construction at the sand bar and that was closed . We will be back.

We had an amazing time this past week at Southernmost Resort. Having beach access was very important to me and we used it daily- the beach was sandy and most of the seaweed was cleaned daily. The pools were fabulous! We liked being at the quiet end of Duvall and didn’t mind the walk or Ubering to bars and restaurants- helped get my exercise in daily. Would recommend an oceanfront room for sure!
