Nice, clean hotel with easy access to the old city. The staff, Anna and Ming were incredibly helpful. Their suggestions about where to eat and a tour to Halong Bay suited our needs. Transportation arranged by the hotel from the airport is a must. It is easy to connect with reasonable rates. Theykept our luggage safe and that was a bonus. A breakfast at another hotel (about a two minute walk) was varied and delicious.

In a convenient, vibrant location within the Old Quarter, this hotel is close to several sights and in an area that is so alive.I rebooked at this hotel when I came back to Hanoi because of the wonderful staff and location. Anna in reception couldn’t do enough to help, with suggestions of where to eat and go, and where to find the best coffee. She was just so lovely. Huyen served a delicious breakfast with enough variety that I was still happy on the last day and the housekeeper and Alex at night couldn’t have been more helpful. I will definitely return to this hotel again.

The room quality was great in overall, well air conditioned and bed was comfy. The breakfast was also satisfying with variety of dishes. Especially, the reception staff 'Anna' was really kind, showed the best hospitality and had been always spontaneous in giving help. On the day of checking out he kindly arranged car to go to airport on time and also helped to arrange all tours to Halong bay, Ninh Binh and Sapa, all were amazing.

We were in Hanoi for 2 nights. Great location, within walking distance of attractions in Old quarter. I appreciated that it was on a quiet side street so that there were no traffic noises. Breakfast was delicious, with many options including western and Vietnamese. The staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They helped us book an overnight cruise to Halong Bay, and a day tour to Ninh Binh. They also helped us arrange airport transfers. We had an excellent stay and would go back again!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Lotus Hotel, staying in a connecting room, we felt like we were living in Hanoi, instead of staying in a hotel, at least for a few days. I want to especially thank Anna who contacted me before the stay to check in on our needs. She was able to organize a food tour and a full day tour to Ninh Binh. The hotel is just off a main street in the old quarter, in the center of the action, but on a quiet street.
