This hotel is located at a walking distance from the old town, making it perfect to explore the city Hanoi, and near the main shopping streets. We picked a double deluxe room, which was exactly as the one showed at their web-page: clean, nice and spacious! But the best of the hotel was the staff: friendly and sincerely willing to help. Also the one-day tour to Halong Bay that we reserved via the hotel was great and a good value for the money. Definitely we would go again to this hotel

We found many good reviews for this hotel and decided to go for it. My husband and myself really enjoy our stay there for 4 nights. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The room even provide free PC for us to surf the internet when we are bored at night. Breakfast choices are limited but the food was good. We will sure go back to the hotel again when we are back in Hanoi.

This place is excellent stay. Rooms are very clean. Service is great with helpful staff. A very good economy hotel you can find in the Old Quarter,The hotel staff met all my needs. We stayed at Royal Palace Hotel for a total of 4 nights. The staff were very helpful and polite. The free airport transfers both ways were a plus. Do not be fooled by the hotel's exterior. Most Hanoi hotels are like that, built in a tube fashion. The room we had was large and comfortable. Renovation and decor was brand new. Room service was efficient and prompt. The best thing about this hotel was that they were able to deliver breakfast to your room -- something which my husband and even my 7-year old son enjoyed. Location wise is good, especially the fact that they are facing a quiet section of the bustling and noisy Old Quarter. They even give you free fruit juices and hot beverages throughout the day. Personally, having visited many countries and staying in many types of hotels ranging from 3 star to 5 star ones, I would say this hotel provides better service than even some 5 star ones I have stayed in, yet the rates are so reasonable. Best of all, there is free internet in every room, hence we were able to do an internet check in. One word sums it all--- incredible!!!!

This hotel is a great value and perfect location in Hanoi! The staff was incredible and always aiming to please. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious.It's a fairly new hotel in a great location....we could walk everywhere. The beds were a little bit hard for my liking but it didn't stop me from having a great night's sleep. There was a minor conflict with our booking, as the previous person in our room decided to have a late check-out. The manager was extra-accomodating offering us discounts or accomodation at the sister hotels to make up for our inconvenience. The manager ensured we were well taken care of and what could have been a huge annoyance was handled professionally with above-and-beyond service! I highly recommend staying here for those who are looking for good value and top-quality service. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed there for two nights (only) but used it as our home for nearly a week because we ordered trips to both Sapa area and Halong bay from the hotel. The trips were good! Our family of 4 (including boys aged 13 and 11) stayed for 5 nights at the Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel 2 and found it was good. The location is excellent - in the heart of the Old Quarter with Hoan Kiem Lake, Train Streets, and zillions of other stores, dining options, and sights within short walking distance. The staff were all excellent and SO helpful (including helping us order pizza one evening). The Family Room with Large Window that we’d reserved for 5 nights turned out to be smaller than we’d hoped for, and we still ended up staying 3 nights in such a room, but staff were helpful with providing us a low cost upgrade to a larger room for a couple nights when one was available which helped us make do with the smaller room for three nights. We might not book the smaller room again if a larger room is available for just a little more cost. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. And again location was awesome! Would recommend.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is situated in an alley so not much disturbance from the honking on the streets. Short walk to shops and to Quan An Ngon for Vietnamese food. The staff are friendly. Cuong was especially helpful. The breakfast, fruit juices and internet access are a nice touch. The staff made every effort to make sure we were comfortable. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff - arranged day trips and taxis very efficiently. Rooms were spacious and clean, room service very good. The hotel is well appointed, spotlessly clean, well located and the staff very welcoming -what more could you ask for! The hotel gave advice on tours and travel and their descriptions and recommendations proved accurate and useful. They arranged train, boat (Halong Bay), and air travel plus a bus tour, for me and and met and delivered me to each with no fuss I would definately stay there again.
