My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in October 2024. We were very happy with our cottage and the premises. Service was excellent. Each morning they served a lovely continental breakfast (never a shortage) and the best coffee which was available for most of the day! The only downfall was it wasn’t as close to Duval as we would have liked but only a short Uber away. No complaints and we would definitely recommend booking.

The facility was beautiful. The roots were very clean. The only complaint I might have was that it was not soundproof at all, But you can’t do that when you’re staying in a very old vintage hotel.

I recently stayed at the Authors of Key West Guest House and had a memorable experience overall. While my room was quite tiny, it wasn't cozy but had everything I needed for my stay. One of the highlights was the fantastic swimming pool—it was a great spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring. Being on the ground floor did present some challenges, though. The area tended to stay a bit damp, which made it hard for things to dry out completely. On a positive note, the included breakfast was a standout feature. It was nutritious and offered a wide selection, which made for a satisfying start to each day. The staff truly made my stay special. They were phenomenal and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality made a significant difference in my experience. Overall, despite the small room size and a few minor issues, the combination of the lovely pool, great breakfast, and exceptional staff made for a delightful stay!
