Easy place to reserve on the fly when another reservation fell through. The lobby was promising and tidy, with neat choices, but the room and hallways were a bit underwhelming and need a sprucing up.

Quaint older hotel that's been updated. Quiet neighborhood in the evenings. Bathroom in our room was small, but workable. No restaurant, but tons of coffee/breakfast/lunch/dinner options in easy walking distance. Staff was great - helpful and courteous. Two parking garages very close so no worries about finding on street parking.

The hotel is quaint, unique, and convenient to Lincoln Park. The main lobby is nice. There is no restaurant on site and parking is in nearby garages. In the past they have allowed our small dog when we stayed there; new management no longer allows pets. The building is older which makes it charming, but our room did smell a bit musty.

Terrible Hotel With Zero Support from Hotels.c
I wasn’t expecting a luxurious hotel given what we paid for during a holiday weekend but it’s in a great location so we decided to book. This place is dirty, uncomfortable, and in need of a major upgrade. I don’t mind “old charm” but our walls were peeling, the linens were worn, the carpets smelled, and our tv didn’t work . The beds was extremely uncomfortable and there wasn’t even a fitted sheet placed to cover the stained mattress (disgusting). The pillows smelled terrible and were also stained and worn. One of my biggest frustrations was the lack of support from Hotels.com and the inability to cancel. Hotels.com will never refund your stay and then the put all of the blame on the hotel and then they turn around and do the same . Do yourself a favor and book directly with the hotels because this site is a nightmare to deal with .

Underwhelmed.
The hotel was worn down. The metal on the door frame to the bathroom ripped our son’s sock. The toilet didn’t work. The room smelled musty. Parking was expensive.
