BEAUTIFUL, RECENTLY CONSTRUCTED CABIN CLOSE TO WOLF LAKE, CLUB 37 & TRAILHEAD

The Wolf Lake Lodge is an awesome, recently constructed cabin, located 1 mile from beautiful Wolf Lake, in Lake County, Northern Michigan. We are conveniently located 7 miles north of Baldwin Michigan right off of N M-37. The Wolf Lake Lodge is situated in the heart of the Manistee National Forest on 3 acres and borders thousands of acres of National Forest in Lake County. Lake County consists of nearly 200,000 acres of public land -- almost half of the county. With 156 lakes, and 46 trout streams, four major rivers, and over 300 miles of ORV & ATV trails and over 750 miles of groomed connecting snowmobile trails, it's a sportsperson's and trail rider's paradise. Plus you can ride your ATV -ORV and Snowmobiles right from the cabin to the trails. If you don't have an ATV or Snowmobile, no problem, there are places nearby that rent them out.
World Class Fishing for Trout, Salmon and Steelhead, in the Pere Marquette River, Pine River, Big Manistee River and Little Manistee Rivers. Great pan fishing in most of the 156 lakes. Fantastic Cross Country Skiing and Mountain Biking are just minutes away on the North Country National Scenic Trails and Big M Trail or just ride your bike around Wolf Lake on the 4 mile paved road. Deer out number people 4 to 1 and Lake County has the largest population of wild turkeys in the state. Wolf Lake is so pure that there are two pairs of Bald Eagles, and three sets of Loon families, and countless numbers of ducks and geese that live on the lake all summer long.
To make sure your visit is as enjoyable as possible, the cabin is completely furnished and also has WiFi available. Always very clean and comfortable, there is also a washer and dryer on sight. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, each with a comfortable queen bed. Upstairs, the loft is very spacious and has another queen bed and 2 twin beds. The living room flat screen has Direct TV for your enjoyment. There is one very clean and spacious bathroom and also a dedicated laundry room. Outside there is a huge covered porch to relax on and also a 20 by 20 pole barn available for use during the snowmobile season. Charcoal grill and fire pit for family fun.

Wolf lake lodge visit
Excellent accomodations! Exceeded our expectations. Great home base for enjoying the area, close enough to Lake Michigan for day trips. Shawn is great at responding right away to any inquiry. Highly recommend this host and his properties- second one we have stayed at, both are top-notch.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this cabin. It was nice and had almost everything we needed. Two of the three bedrooms had window air conditioners. One slight concern, the coffee pot did not fit the coffee maker, but we made it work. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay with all the amenities you’ll need. Great location with a restaurants 2mins away, state land across the road and out the back door. Trail head is a hop and a skip away. This is my third time at this location. We will be back for sure.

This is a great option for a group of friends that are traveling to the Baldwin area. The place was spotless clean and more than accommodating with everything youd need for a weekend stay. Nice Cabin
We chose to stay here for the proximity to the trailheads. The cabin is definitely one of the newest and nicest looking around the area. Place was clean, spacious, and had just about everything you’d need. The small wooded area between the road and cabin provides privacy and makes it feel like you aren’t on a busy road. Would definitely stay here again!

just ok
Nice woodwork, nice firepit. Great layout. Nice clean bathroom. Nicely stocked with everything you would need. Everything else was very dirty, took about 15 minutes to get the grime cleaned off of the front door handle and door. It was so bad we had to take pictures. windowsills were also filthy, we tried cleaning one or two but we needed a stronger cleanser than what we had. They really need a coat of KILZ and then repainted. We also had to scrub all of the counter tops and tables. Bedding and bathroom seemed pretty clean, although I had problems with the strong scented laundry soaps used on the bedding. took a while to get the scent aired out. As soon as I laid down it hit me and my asthma flared up, I would suggest using a scent free detergent and dryer sheets. At the very least use anything less scented than what you currently use. Also, I guess you use "recently Constructed" loosely, in my eyes recently is no more than a couple years. Clearly it's been several years. We won't mention the stairs, glad I didn't have to go up them, I never would have made it down. picnic table had several shell casings piled on top, might want to at least pick them up and dispose of them. We will not stay here again.

The property was everything as described and fit all of our needs. Perfect location for dirt biking the Little O, 1 mile from a convenience store, 15 minutes to Pine River rentals, great campfire area, no neighbors other than wildlife, all around central located place.

Enjoyed the property for ORV Jeep trip.
Great location for ORV with our Jeeps. Close to trails, ample parking with access to pole barn for hard top storage. Charcoal grill and fire pit were enjoyed!! Great kitchen space, laundry and bathroom. Beds comfortable and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Window air conditioner available only in 1 bedroom and loft, which worked well at cooling those rooms only. Other bedroom has a ceiling fan, but no window air conditioning. Living room had a portable air conditioning unit, not the greatest at cooling that room and the kitchen, was more like a fan that an AC unit. Windows left open overnight helped, but during the day and with use of stove/oven it was quite warm. Maybe with some maintenance/update of the unit, cooling would be better. Thankfully it wasn’t extremely hot out during our stay, otherwise it could be quite uncomfortable. Loft bedroom with very steep narrow stairs, so a younger/smaller person is best for use. Excellent communication from owner and easy check in. Would stay here again.
